I kinda agree with him, I mean if its really minor, only gonna be gone day-to-day, and it won't lead to other injuries, it could kinda help us, we've got first place in the league and I believe that we are 8 points or so ahead of ottawa who is second place, just to see how well we can do with out a star player, so we won't have to rely on one guy can't hurt that bad could it? I'm not saying I wish for him to be injured, cause I'm not, I'm just saying I wanna see how we'd do without lids, just to seee how big a trouble we'd be if we didn't have him.. is all

I don't have it, but a good pic that I've seen that hasn't been posted was one from this year, it was a frozen moment one on nhl.com I don't know who it was or who the wings were playing, but a guy (pretty sure a rookie) lost his stick in the wings bench and tried to get it, but chelios had his skate on the stick so he couldn't pick it up, him and everyone on the bench were laughing. that was pretty good

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge Avalanche fan by any means, but I have gotten past the rivalry, and don't call them "Divalanche", and toby's right, no matter what, you have to give credit where credits due, and Sakic deserves alot of credit. Many of you are thinking that Avs will say Sakic is ten times better than Steve, well quite the conterary, head over at forums.coloradoavalanche.com and read there discussion on this topic, now many people wouldn't openly say "Steve is better than Sakic" (though some did), 99% of the people would say that they are equal, which I was surprised to see, consideriing they still have quarrels with us. Many Avalanche fans are saying that these two players are alike in so many ways, and how it is nearly impossible to compare them and say who is better. And I agre with that. Yes I do think that Yzerman is better, however, like Avs fans said, Sakic hasn't finished his career and he is still seems to be quite productive. People here are being arrogent, saying "How can you compare these two, Stevie is on another level" yet if you really think about it, he's not when compared to Sakic, no matter how much of a hero Stevie is in this city. I will give the edge to Steve, but lets not foget, Sakic is also an amazing player. *on a side note, Yzerman passing the cup to Vlady in 98' can not be beat.

Wern't we supposed to "fall" after 02 when Scotty left? Wern't we supposed to "fall" when after us getting swept by the ducks, because it lost out confidence? Wern't we supposed to "fall" after the lock out, because we were to "old" in the new NHL Wern't we supposed to "fall" after Steve left, because there can never be a captain like him, thus no heart in the team. Anybody else seeing Chelios? I mean is this the same guy who got his first and only goal in the playoffs last year? Who got, I think what? 10 or 11 assist within 80 or so games? Is this the same "washed up " Chelios who should be removed to let the "young guys play". Who can't score points, and is pretty much only on the team to mentor (which he still is) and to P.K (which he still is) I"m not positive with the stats, but I think he has 4 points within two games right? 2 goals 2 assists, maybe 1 assist but I'm positive there are 2 goals..... HOW????!!!! All I've gotta say is keep rolling and don't let this just be a preseason thing.
