Well talking about pirates, I was at school with my friend and told him a ton of corny pirate jokes what does a pirate drive? A carrrrrr why couldn't a pirate see the movie/? It was rated arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and so on... My friend being the nitwit he is, thought he was unbelievably clever, and was like "ok ok ok, i got one, listen to this, its great.... What kinda cell phone did the pirate get? A razerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

So i was playing NHL 07 on my PSP, it was tied 2-2 against the Blackhawks. Dying seconds, Holmstrom goes back behind the net, comes out up front, I tried to pass it pass the blue line but got intercepted, he shot it (forgot who), and scored with .4 seconds left...

Wow I feel retarted now. It was supposed to be a joke because the crowed was going crazy when the Wings scored and the horn went on the second goal.... ya know what just ignore that post

I don't think Chicago deserves Chelios quite honestly. I mean heres a hometown guy, got close (twice I think?) to winning a Stanley Cup, was captain of there team for quite some time, holds the most goal scored in a single season for defensman, was assistant captain, and I'm sure he holds more franchise records for them that I can't think of, and just because he left they boo him like hell. I mean granted he went to one of there biggest rivals at the time, but i don't think that chelios requested to leave, the wings were looking for some tough defensman to take Konstintinov's place, and they asked for chelios, and chelios just didn't refuse. I mean sure during the first couple years they should boo him, but after 10 years, just give it up. I know chelios says he likes all the boo's, and i'm sure he does from other teams, but how would you like it Grow up watching the Blackhawks, loving the team. Chicago native that still loves his home town, grows up hoping to make it to the NHL and does, now hoping to play for Chicago. Got a deal with Chicago and was thrilled, and played some of your best years with the team you love, got traded and now the people of your home town, where you grew up hates your guts and can't stand you. Maybe its just me.. but I'd be very sad and disheartened.

I wouldn't say that, i mean he did win 4 norris trophey's, 3 being consecutive.

Good thread I agree completley, its always nice to have a diverse group here. It adds some excitement to our discussions to. But like Barrie said you MUST follow the rules: Rule # 1: Lidstrom is, and always will be, the best defender in the league until he retires. Rule # 2: Gary Bettman Sucks Rule # 3: Yzerman was the greatest captain, and classiest person in NHL history, and the trophy should be called the "Yzerman trophy", not the "Messier trophy" Rule #4: The Detroit Redwings should be in the Eastern Confrence Rule # 5: Lang (a.k.a. Lazy and Sucks), is lazy.. and he sucks, no matter what. (wait does this rule still apply)? Rule #6: Zetterburg is an amazing player, and according to the lady's, is the hottest player. Rule #7: Chelios is a fan favorite in Detroit, and Wings fans love how other fans hate him. Rule #8: Bertuzzi is well respected by most fans over here. Rule #9. Lilja is freakin awsome now, because of his playoff performance, however in the season, he sucks (I think?) Rule #10: Gary Bettman Sucks. Edit: Sorry thought of one more Rule # 11: It is literally impossible for all Wings fans to agree on a trade. There could be a trade for Sid the Kid for a draft pick and someone will complain. There could be trade involving Shanahan and a draft pick and someone will complain, there could be a trade involving, hell Gretzky in his prime for a draft pick and damn it SOMEONE WILL COMPLAIN. ITS IMMPOSSIBLE I TELLS YA. not much of a rule, rather a head up for you guys Have I got all these right? Am I missing some?.. probably,
