There just aren't enough hockey fans out there...plain and simple. It's funny because people know my husband loves his Wings. He has all the games on the calendar so therefore pretty much watches EVERY regular season game. People sort of poke fun at the fact that he DOES watch every regular season game. How come nobody makes fun of the fact that there are a ton of people out there that spend their entire weekend watching football??...because there are more people that watch football. I prefer a hockey nut for a husband rather than a football fanatic. That way we can spend our weekends at Home Depot or Bed Bath & Beyond...if there's time (I'm hoping most of you got the Old School reference in that last sentence)

Yeah but by the time I get home from work the next day I've already heard the score and whatnot. I can stay up and watch the games as long as it doesn't go into OT

Yeah I always wondered what type of person is willing to sit most of the game with an Octopus in their pants...lol. Kinda squishy! Could you imagine the looks you get in the bathroom?

I want to say it was in 2003, but my husband and I went with another couple to the last game of the season in Chicago. Well if we would have won that game we would have been first in west. Well we didn't end up winning that game, and of course the Chicago fans were all over us about how WE suck. I had to laugh and just think that their guys would be playing golf a lot sooner than our guys...lol.
