Chelios had the 5th longest shift for the Wings in the game at 1:27. Kronwall, Zetterberg, Stuart and Franzen had a few seconds more, with Kronwall topping it at 2:00 even. -

Chelios was out on a shift for a buck thirty late in the game. Who cares if he didn't play him? Our big guys deserved all the ice-time for a tremendous job. -

Just poor wording is all. "44 Cups, including the last one." Makes it that they've won 44, including last year's. "The Wings have 44 Cups on their roster, compared to Chicago's 3." type thing would've been better.

Well, he did make the right call. Clearly Hudler's back got in the way of Pronger's stick. Thus it's interference. -
It wasn't a dirty hit. Just a penalty. Not Stuart's fault that he mis-timed his hit. Just like in football. If you hit the dude before the ball gets there, it's Pass Interference.

One of the Caps penalties was an obvious high-sticking double minor. The other two were Slashing and Interference. So they basically had two penalties. I consider High sticking and delay of game automatic calls (when made). Bill McCreary has not called many penalties in the second round, so this is not surprising at all. Not a conspiracy, just the way he's called games. He's consistent. -
Bruins/Canes starts an hour after the Wings game does, last time I checked NHL.com. It will start alteast 30 minutes after.

You know, the real sad thing about this, is that Andre Roy got suspended a game for crossing the center line in warm-ups and simply gently bumping a player. Yet all this s*** goes unsuspendable. -

There is no chance anyone is suspended. If Scott Walker can't get suspended, no one here will. The amount of s*** we have seen in several series this year makes Chris Pronger's two suspensions in 2007 look pretty much like honourable and clean play.
