I have never given up on this team, and I never will. Not many predicted the Wings to win in 4 or 5 anyways... just like vs Dallas. It was 6 or 7, and the Wings will win in 6, or 7 games. I don't care which one, I just want the win. Go get 'em boys.

Maggie has never picked a Stanley Cup winner correctly (like the poster above said), so this is actually a blessing in disguise.

The Wings have what, 1 win since he's been out. Wouldn't that just prove further how much of an impact he is for the Wings, and solidify his bid even more for it?

Ironically, Edmonton was the only team I didn't want the Wings to play. If the Sharks met the Ducks, I'd be cheering for San Jose... I don't they could even hang with this team healthy. They had to get a cheap bounce off the netting just to get the winner on Friday.

While I was watching the Pens/Sens tonight, I bitterly said when a puck hit the netting and came back down: "That's a live puck."

Would doubt it, but does anyone know of a live feed for tonight? Really would like to see the game, but don't have Centre Ice.

On Pace means really nothing, other than a reference point, but he is on pace for 68 goals. Assuming he has some mutli goal games, and some no goal games, he very well could reach the 70 mark.

This one really surprised me. I forgot to mention, Pierre McGuire selected Henrik Zetterberg to finish 4th in NHL Scoring this season. I believe it was: 1. Crosby 2. Spezza 3. Thornton 4. Zetts 5. Sakic Also, Pierre McGuire said that he thinks Forsberg is coming to Detroit. He believes some Wings players have contacted Forsberg about coming, and thinks he will wind up in Motown.

I'd say Muckler was way more of a reason for the Sens Stanley Cup berth than Murray... weird. Eklund said something about Muckler leaving earlier.

I know it's just Eklund, but he thinks Nichol will come to Detroit... he also thinks Forsberg is going home, so... yeah...

IMO, we should get rid of: Zetts, Dats, Lids, Homer, Flip, Drapes, Lebda and Schneider. Also, fire Holland, Yzerman, Babcock, clean them all out Then, the Illitch's should sell the team to Boise, Idaho, and retire making pizzas. Then, the Wings would win a Cup. /sarcasm.

I've watched the Cup every year, and won't stop now... I hope for a tremendous series, and let the best team win.

Just before I prepare to haul it in for the offseason, I'd like to extend my thanks to the entire Detroit Red Wings organization for a great season. In the end, the team didn't accomplish the ultimate goal of winning the Stanley Cup, but they sure as hell proved a lot of their critics wrong this season. Maybe if the puck bounced their way, we'd be seeing game 1 at the Joe on Monday, but it didn't and that is hockey. In my mind, no one should take away what the Ducks did this series. They may not have played their best hockey against the Wings, but they did win the series, and played when it counted most, i.e. Game 6. I wish them best of luck against the Senators. Once again, thank you, Wings... you made it fun to watch hockey past round 1's and 2's this year, and I truly appreciate it... even if the bandwagoners don't. I of course will be back next season, and every other season, good or bad, because this team is too great to stop cheering for. Thank you LGW.com, Detroit Red Wings, and all the true fans who stuck by this team from start to finish. It was fun, go get em in 08. Thanks.
