I can't say I'm 100% confident... there is always that little flash of doubt. However, I stand behind this team 100% and believe they will get it done tonight.

I realize these aren't the same sports, so simply replace "Football" or Football Terms with "Hockey" or Hockey Terms and you've got yourself a very inspirational speech.

I haven't predicted a game yet... I think it's time. Half of me believes this team will be ready to play. I have confidence that they will get the job done, after seeing what they have done to the Ducks since game 3 forward. Now, if the Ducks had dominated those games, maybe i'd think opposite. Wings will come out to play, I say a low score, 3-2. Let's go with Flip, Johan and Zetts or Pavel.

Funny how loyal a single person can be to a professional sports team. I cannot sleep at all, pondering what happened today. Replays going through my head, etc. I pray to the lord that this season doesn't end until Lidstrom receives that 35 pound Cup we call Stanley. It's almost scary how good this thing has been. After the playoffs were set, I went series by series, asking the Magic 8 Ball who would win... eventually it chose Detroit to beat Ottawa in the Stanley Cup Final. So, just minutes ago, to make sure it is staying true, I asked: Will Detroit win Game 5? - "Your team will win in an unusual manner" Will Detroit win Game 6? - "Your team will win" Will Detroit beat Ottawa for the Stanley Cup? - "You know it" This thing has a record of 4-0 on individual games, and has nailed one half of the Stanley Cup. Just one of those superstition type things

No one here has reason to fold the bed and put this season away. This team is not going to flop over and die, because of one heartbreaking loss. There is a reason the Red Wings are where they are right now. This club has so much leadership, I believe they will come through in game 6 and deliver what will be the most nerve-racking game of the season back at the Joe on Thursday.

Maybe I'm just looking for explanations as to why this P.O.S. betrayed me, but maybe an "unusual" win is what we saw today... the Wings dominated the game, but didn't get the official win. It said we'd win game 6 straight up, so now I'm going to pose the Game 7 question. - Will the Wings and Ducks series go to game 7? - "I think the Answer is yes.." - Will the Wings win in game 7? - It keeps telling me no... I'm ready to break it.
