Not so fast buddy. I'm pretty sure with Lilja playing tomorrow night the attention will be diverted from Sammy quickly. Besides, he (Sammy) did have an assist yesterday.

I don't hate Sammy. Honestly, I don't. In fact, I may be one of the few LGWers who likes him. But in trying to be objective here, I am not in favor of benching Flip or Rex. They are both legitimate offensive threats, as evidenced by yesterday's game. The only reason I can see Sammy getting playoff time is that he's been there before whereas the kiddies haven't. However, my argument to that is...you gotta begin somewhere.

I sprained my right knee during game 7 against Colorado in 2002's conference finals b/c I was so excited we were kicking the snot out of Waaaaaah. Anyway, knee injuries suck.

Marcus you crack me up. As for the Red Wings not named Datsyuk drought (it took me forever to figure out what this thread was ) I'm not overly concerned. Someone mentioned the lack of continuity...I believe that has something to do with it. Don't worry...it's going to be good. Once Z is back...WE'RE GONNA ROCK IT!!! -
I have a red Zetterberg jersey but I don't wear it. It's signed and framed and hanging next to my bed so I can gaze at where he wrote my name while I fall asleep.

For real. I hate when the only time I notice is him is when he's skating to the box. But anyway, I'm stoked to see Bert out there!!! I really hope he gets a warm reception from the fans. If any of you are going to the game, be sure to welcome him from me. I really wanted to get a Sesame Street Bert doll and put a Wings jersey on him.
