I hear you...I really do. But I was reading an article a few months ago and they were talking to Hank and said something to the effect of, it must be nice to have so many Swedes around to help you...like Lidstrom. And Hank goes, who Nick...nah he's American. Plus his kids were all born here. That being said, if he leaves I will still love him and also hold no ill will towards him.

I'm liking you more every day. First the avatar, then agreeing with my inane logic, and now admitting man love for Joey Mac? You're aces in my book. I'm actually excited to see how THE MAC work it tomorrow and Monday. He really did have a fine game in St. Louis. It's time for the rest of the boys to step it up with that defense minded, allowing minimal shots by the opposition, puck possession play that I have grown accustomed to.

Horse? (Must repress dirty thoughts!) You're right Loo... I'm glad Hasek has been as good as he has been. Solid, to say the least. I can say with excessive confidence that we wouldn't be anywhere near the top of the league this year without him. (Before anyone disagrees with me...shut up b/c I'm right.)

I used to call him Nick Jr. (until some GENIUS invented Kronnic) but not because I thought he was the second coming of Nick Lidstrom. I just called him Nick Jr. b/c he was the younger Nick. See, my reasoning wasn't nearly as prolific.

And real quick, can we please talk about Lang? Is it just me or is he kind of...what's the word I'm looking for? He's kind of lethargic...doesn't want to work hard...what's the word! And also he sort of is not good, but like bad...but really bad...what's the word?!?!? Ok I'm done.

It's not a matter of "let's get rid of Pavel." It's more like "if I had to choose I would keep Hank, not Pavel." They are both amazingly skilled players. And yes, they play great together. But Zata's (seeming) ability to bring it every night, along with high praise from coaches around the league, a nod to the All-Star game, consideration for the Selke, maturity and leadership to acquire the "A" all make him a more desirable mainstay in Detroit. See what I'm saying?

I am not in favor of trading Kronnic. He has some fantastic potential and I trust him waaaaaaaaay more than I trust Lillypads. Of course Lebda is awesome too. They are both young and learning. But in terms of trading the Kron...nooooo. He looks good behind the winged wheel and makes some exxxxxcellent hits...we need that.
