Not really related but I always think of one mickey comment from a few years back I think it was Red Wings vs Nashville on a friday or saturday night. Hasek was in goal and fell backwards into the net for some reason and Mickey said something like hes going down pretty early for a Saturday night lol.

Good solid player but I dont trust him in the playoffs at all. I don't think he should pk or play in the last 3 minutes in playoffs he panics and turns it over way to much. Id like to keep him but just get someone else for top 4

I understand why the Wings would be better in the East but I do enjoy staying up watching the late games out west. Even though it seems there are not as many 10:30 starts anymore.

I hate to say it but for me the winter classic has lost some interest. I think the first one was awesome and Detroit Chicago was great but I have payed less attention each year. Maybe its because last years got pushed back to night.

I hope he comes back but I also hope he takes more of a pay cut.

It seems like when you think someone will come back they retire and the other way around. I think he should come back but that means he will probably retire. With or without Nick the defence needs help. Stuart is good but I dont trust him on the ice in playoffs he turns it over way to much. Erickson is a 7th d-man imo Kronwall and Rafalski are good but Rafalski isent getting any younger. Please no Kaberle

I think he deserves another shot everyone has a down year look how many people wanted cleary gone after last year or Datsyuk traded in 05'06 because he never produced in playoffs. I was down on him alot this year but I dont think he just forgot how to score.

Anyone else notice Hudler and flipula couldent even handle the puck the last two games? I swear almost everytime either got the puck they were tripping over their feet and almost turning it over? I thought Flipula looked great in some coyote games even though he dident get the goals he looked good to me.

I think the Wings need better D. I think Erickson is a 7th D man at best. Brad Stuart is good but I dont think he should be logging important ice time in playoffs he seems to get nervious and can not even get the puck out of the zone and turns it over a lot. Lindstrom is still great but not getting any younger and maybe not quite as sharp. Just a side note on the Shark series Hudler and Flipula seem to be bumbling around with the puck almost every time they have it. Almost turning it over in some cases turning it over and even almost falling a few times. IDK what the problem is.
