I like Cleary but what would you get for him?

Glad the wings dident re sign him. He had an awesome year before the playoffs for the wings but it does seem like his best days are behind him. Not saying he sucks or anything.

I remember when everyone thought Lilja sucked even me a few years ago. He has got alot better. I think the red wings should re-sign him for sure as long as the price is right.

Im not a huge fan. I dont know just seems to me he turns the puck over a lot or comes close to turning it over. He is not bad though I think he can be alot better.

Crosby is an awesome player. One of the best in the NHL but the way the hockey media (canadians mostly) talk about him makes me sick. I remember bill melrose on espn before the habs series saying that Crosby wouldent let what happend to Ovechkin's caps happen to the pens. Well look what happend. It was sickening how he was saying Crosby fears losing and going on and on. That is the reason I hate him. I have since he was drafted and made captain. Has nothing to do with them beating the Red Wings last year.

I'm not 100% sure who the Wings were facing for my favorite game it was out west on a late game I think it was the Canucks or maybe Edmonton. I remember the Wings came back to win I think it was Bertuzzi with the game winner. Another great game was Detroit vs Chicago on NBC the first meeting on NBC when it went to a shootout but Blackhawks won. The game was still awesome. I the Buffalo game at the Joe on March 13th. That was also an awseome game with Rafalski winning it in overtime.

I don't like to watch playoff games that close because its to stressful but I turn it on for a minute every 5 minutes or so to check. The last two games all I heard when putting the game on was "Penalty up coming to Detroit" I swear every time I turned it on. I havent looked up the number of power plays for both teams but it can't even be close. I hope Kronwall smashes Setaguci I dont even care how to spell his name. He looks like a fish out of water flopping around.

I was going to say something stupid like its on FSN Detroit but then realized not all wings fans live in Michigan. Justin.tv works good for streaming sports sometimes.

Might be a good idea. I wish someone like Cleary or Bertuzzi would have steped up to Doan it was kind of pathetic to watch.

It is going to be fun to watch philly get bounced in the first round of the playoffs. I wouldent have played Lilja even if he was healthy. No need to have him get run by carcillo or someone and get another concussion.

I feel dumb saying this but I really think Osgood should get the start and Howard could maybe use some rest. Seems like the Wings always get off to a slow start and or don't play that well against Oilers. Ugh I dont know.

It is sucks to have to hear it to much. I remember during the playoffs against chicago I woke up one morning with a song in my head and I dident know what it was then later i realized it was that damn song they play when the hawks score.

He has always had my respect as far as being a great player. I just get sick of hearing how great he is and seeing him on tv when there are players just as good if not better. Not to mention the non hand shake was pretty lame.

Good topic I have always wondered that myself. Im right handed and never played hockey but when I picked up a stick for the first time right handed shot just felt right.

Williams is good to have in the shootout but you gotta do what you gotta do.

I watched that also it was pretty funny. The main reason I watch coaches corner for laughs.

I wish the wouldent have put Quincy on waivers but i understand they had to. Im not saying they shouldent have got put Erickson on waivers but I dont know maybe Meetch.

Philly or Toronto id say. Vancouver seems to have grit at times.

Yes he is over paid but it is better than the alternative of not having him. He was an upgrade over Schneider I guess.

I find my self wondering what place the Wings would be in if they were in the east. That would be nice.
