I wish they could make a play at Heatley I read they might want to trade him. Thats what the red wings need is a sniper. They have so many playmakers and always have so many "almost" goals its amazing. Could seem like that since I watch the Red WIngs the most maybe.

It is all speculation but at 36 Datsyuk will be getting old and probabably declining so I guess it wouldent be that odd. Id like to see Datsyuk until at least 38 though he is my favorite player. Id like to keep Filpula but if someone is going to give him more than hes worth let him go.

I think he will end up in New York or Philly. It would be awesome to see him as a Wing but IDK if the Wings have enough to give up.

I dont know getting traded mid year like that cant be great for your mind so im willing to give him a second chance. Even with that said I dident think he was that bad. I still like the trade and think he will fill Stuard's roll just fine.

Nah let it be make some other signings to fill holes and wait for the right deal. Missing out on some big names and signing someone else for big money just because you feel you need to do something never works. Maybe Kane will end up being amazing he is real good but it doesent feel right to me. The Red Wings should still make the playoffs imo. I think Kronwall will step up and if given the chance I really would like to see what Smith can do on D as well.

Parise and Suter - how much are they really worth?

I think Suter might be overrated a bit and will get slightly overpaid but he is a d-man and that tends to happen. I think parise is worth more and should be the Red Wings main focus. They never seem to have a sniper that can put the puck in the net consistantly. Not since the Hossa year imo. -
You know what? I agree 100% lol I can't argue with that. Maybe re sign him for a healthy scratch guy. I guess its time to let him go.

I honestly would resign Hudler for cheap if you can. He is a perfect 4rth liner that can slide up to second line if injuries happen.
