I'm quite certain that in the years the Wings won their Cups some of the guys had their hats on when they were shaking hands with the other team...almost 100% positive

I am rooting for the Sens to unleash hell on the Ducks...I can never cheer for the team that ousts the Wings (Oilers, Flames, Ducks, Avs, etc.)

as nice as it would be to get Drury, he's not going to leave Buffalo...I think he's more important to them than Briere...I could honestly see the Sabres doing something creative to get both of them to stay.

That's awesome...he's such a badass, I'd love to meet him. There are way more important things in life to cry over than a hockey game...like most of us here I absolutely eat, sleep, and breathe the Wings, and I live and die with every game...but crying over a loss is a bit much...I did when I was a lot younger (after Game 6 vs. Colorado in 1996, hated Forsberg since that day) and I didn't have many other things going on in my life, but there are more important things...I love sports but in reality it is only a game and not worth crying over

Grigorenko is coming over too...I hope he's on the big club instead of stuck in GR

Lang is gone, so is Calder...re-sign Bert, he was never healthy this season...I'd like Schneids back but I think he's gone...Hasek has another year left in him...I agree with bringing Kindl and Grigorenko up...this is going to be a competitive team again next season...there's a lot more playoff experience in that dressing room now...the younger guys know what it takes now...they'll be right back in the same position next year

the Ducks response shouldn't surprise anyone...Brian Burke has to be the biggest whiner in all of hockey...anyone else remember the press conference he had during the Wings-Canucks series in 2002? It was unforgettable...he went off on the way the refs were calling the series and he got a fine for it too if I remember correctly...he'll have a lot more to whine about on Sunday night after his team is eliminated

the guys on TSN seem to think that Pronger will be getting suspended...I hope they throw that punk out for at least 2 games...other than that, the Wings are ABUSING the Ducks tonight...I LOVE IT!

I liked the store, they definitely had a lot of authentic stuff, but I was surprised that they didn't have more CCM or Reebok stuff...there was stuff that we sold in the store I worked at that they didn't have at Hockeytown Authentics...I was a bit disappointed by that...I figured I'd walk in and see everything Red Wings that was ever made but it wasn't like that at all

I think Ottawa will be a tough team in the Finals...they have an amazing top line, solid defence, and a goalie that hasn't made many mistakes...they'll be a tough matchup for Detroit

I'd be a lot more interested in them re-signing him if he'd go out there and actually look interested...he needs to drive to the net more...he weighs over 250 pounds with all that equipment on...he needs to start using his size...he should be out there destroying Getzlaf and Perry and running over Giguere...he really, really needs to get it going, the sooner the better

anything short of the Cup is a disappointment in any season...personally, if they don't win, I don't see how the season can be called a success...you play to win the Cup and if you don't win, you're not successful, especially if you're the Wings

Massive win today, but I have to say that I am a little concerned about missing Schneids for the rest of the post-season...hope we don't become what Buffalo was last year when it seemed like they lost a defenceman every game
