I read this yesterday, from Mlive.com: "Stuart, an unrestricted free agent the Red Wings will try to re-sign, apparently has no interest in returning to southern California, as he is selling his house in Los Angeles. He still owns a home in San Jose, where his wife is due to give birth on April 22." Maybe the Sharks will try to sign him, but I still think there is a good chance he will be back with the Wings next year.

I bought tickets the second they went on sale thinking they might be sold out, but not at all...decent ones are still available for the second round

I have tickets for the first two games of round 2...I'll be in Windsor from the 23rd-27th so I'm hoping they'll be playing those games then...I looked at NBCsports.com and their TV listings had Game 2 of the 2nd round listed for April 26 and 27...so I'm hoping that game 1 is on the 24th and game 2 is on the 26th!

I saw this article on Mlive.com yesterday and here's what I wrote: I can see the argument for Lamoriello, he's done a great job during his tenure in Jersey. But to put Brian Burke ahead of Holland is absolutely ridiculous. He doesn't have near the record that Holland does. Most of what has happened in Anaheim is the work of Bryan Murray (Getzlaf, Perry). People need to get over this thing with Burke. He's a good GM, but Holland and Lamoriello are in a class by themselves.

this was what I wondered going into the playoffs last year, but as soon as I watched the first game of the Calgary series I knew we'd be ok...Dats, Z, and Schneider were out there crashing and banging against the Flames...that was when I knew we'd be fine...especially with the way Kopecky has emerged as a hitter, I'm feeling confident

San Jose is the only team I am afraid of...they are big, strong, and fast and they are playing out of their minds right now...but I'm still sure we can handle them

QFT...I'm not sure how the schedule breaks down, but each NBA team plays every other one home and away at least once...I can't understand how the NHL hasn't caught on to this yet.

while I'd rather play someone other than Vancouver, I'm not too worried about them

Wow...and just imagine, a few weeks ago everything was doom and gloom around here..."this team sucks"..."we're too soft"..."we're too old"..."we're going to lose in the first round"...makes you realize how quickly things change.

people here are unreal...6 regulars are out of the lineup (Cleary, Hasek, Lidstrom, Chelios, Rafalski, and Kronwall), we lose a few games while they're out, and all of a sudden we're going out in the first round??? WOW...get a freaking life...watch this team turn around once everyone is back and healthy
