I just got in from work, the guys there were like "hey Andrew, you hear that we are getting Draper from you guys for Raycroft?" Surely this is FALSE. Holland would never trade Draper away, let alone for Raycroft. He also has a no trade clause which he would not waive, even if he is a Torontonian. But what I am trying to say, are there more developments with this rumour?

Yes sir, but those mistakes were made at some point in time. The Islanders are historically, the most poorly managed franchise of all time.

I would have loved if he were to be a Wing, but for that money, hell no. The Isles are far more foolish.

Asham and Fedotenko. We would not have been able to afford Koz anyways. Asham and Fedotenko both bring size and grit as well as a small ability to score which can be increased when playing with our magicians.

Brian Burke trading Ilya Bryzgalov to us is less likely than Tim Cheveldae coming back to be our goalie.

I love JR but this was long overdue. He was an amazing player in his day and he will probably go down in my book as the most entertaining hockey personality of all time.

If we were to get Raycroft he would be fine. I would enjoy watching him look amazing as a member of the Red Wings, then I would be able to tell my friends that YES RAYCROFT IS A CAPABLE STARTER. Some of them seem to think that the guy is the scum of the goalie world, he is not bad. I mean he was seriously over worked last season and won 38 games I believe, with a defensive corps that is utterly useless.
