Will the Wings have another 100 point player again
superstarsingh replied to Hank Dats 'N Homer's topic in General
The fact that Dats normally puts up 97 means that yes, they will. Next year if he and Franzen have the same chemistry they do now I think Dats will likely have 100 points. I feel out of Dats and Zetterberg, Datsyuk is more likely to hit 100. -
Draper got him. Red Wings' Jimmy Howard turns 26 and Kris Draper orders him the usual
-
Wonder what Drapes has in store for him.
-
I think this can be achieved with the way they have been playing! Keep up the hard work and the streaks will remain intact
-
I am pretty excited for Joakim Andersson to come over the pond. Hopefully he is a Griffin next year but I feel he might be in the SEL for one more season.
-
St. Louis always makes me uneasy but that Red Wings team we saw on Monday night were the Wings we know and love. They are back and let's just keep on rollin' right into the playoffs.
-
C- Zetterberg A- Datsyuk A- Kronwall/Rafalski
-
Of course there would be a guy in a Penguins jersey at a Blue Jackets/Red Wings game. God, these people are everywhere. That picture has jersey foul written all over it.

David Bowie- Rebel Rebel

Finishing 7th or 8th is the most likely. I am fine with that position. That means either Chicago, San Jose or Phoenix which is alright. The Wings (playing like this) can handle these three teams . None of those three should scare us. Phoenix is hot right now and their building will be electric in the playoff so I am inclined to hope they finish 4th but who cares, bring them, Chicago or San Jose on.

Whoever has to replace this moron sure has his work cutout.

To, Carman Yes, of course you can like Crosby as a player. He is a phenomenal talent. The fact that you ignore that he is a complete whiner, the baby of the NHL and he (like you) is ignorant of these things is your flaw. Fitting that a Crosby fan sort of behaves like number 87. If Crosby went about his business like a man, we would not have a problem with him. Be a man Sid, be a man. He starts s*** and wonders why Howard attacked him. You make stupid comments about Zetterberg not wanting to fight a 'man?' The game was won, why fight him for no reason? Also, would you beat up the commissioner's 'son?' Z was wise to leave Crosby alone.
-
With idiotic comments like these, I wonder which "Lemieux" household Crosby lives in.
-
What a loser. He does not know why Howard was where he was and claims he wanted a "free" shot. Ignorance is bliss, Sid, ignorance is bliss. Scum.
-
He is certainly a Red Wing goalie by blood after that display against the world's leader in douchery.
-
That ref must be getting paid overtime to protect Sid.
-
That was one of their better games this year! Well done boys! Keep on rollin' baby!
-
My name is Andrew and I love Jimmy Howard.

I am sure some of you guys saw the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs commercials last night on HNIC. One with Stevie is coming!!! Video: 'History Will Be Made' campaign debuts with Lemieux, Orr

"What if Messier did not guarantee?" or "What if Messier did not deliver?"

Is there a concrete highlight such as the goal in 96 in the 97, 98 or 02? I am not entirely sure that there is a more iconic goal than this one. That said, its a shame this goal did not happen a year later (in this context only).

Puck Daddy: Why nobody wants the Red Wings in Rd 1
superstarsingh replied to BobL's topic in General
I for one want them in Round One. -
I think he took a shot off of the inside of hit foot last week. No, thats too simple. He is afraid.
-
There is a lot of drama associated with Yzermans's OT winner. Rewinding the shot will be cool especially since the shot went bar down perfectly.I mean, the celebration that ensued was crazy and I am sure they will include his mauling in the commercial. I'm excited to see it as I am sure everyone else is.

At the end of the day, regardless of his size, Hudler's production (last year) was right on par with Frolov's. Hudler was not logging the same amount of minutes as Frolov as well. So IF Hudler comes back, at $2.85 million, he is a better (and more realistic) option than Frolov.
