No, no, no. Souray is not worth Lang and Hudler. Lang for Souray seems okay, just leave Hudler out of it. Maybe we should try and grab Ryder. Souray and Ryder for Lang and Hudler? I do not like this possibility of trading Hudler because though he is small he is going to play wing for us next season and as we know, we dont exactly have depth on either wing.

Simon would have been a good addition. But I am still hoping they wake up and give Bootland the chance that he clearly deserves. Bootland is probably the only gritty guy in our system that plays hockey and does it with a chip on his shoulder with that being said we need to sign a gritty guy who is a good player...for example Danny Markov. Its a real shame you dont have much to support your argument. A NATURAL goal scorer as you said MAx is does not need to be the playmaker wherever he is. His job would be to score goals....he had around 50 assists this past year...he is a playmaker not a goal scorer. He dont need him. We have the second best playmaker in the NHL in Datsyuk. Him and Dats on a line would not make much sense, who's going to score the bulk of the goals?

First of all there is no HENDRICK on the Red Wings. His name is Henrik Zetterberg. Secondly Afinogenov is in NO WAY a natural goal scorer. In 6 years in the NHL he has failed to score 25 goals in each of those seasons. He has speed that is what helps him. He is not a goal scorer. Want a natural goal scorer? Henrik Zetterberg is a natural goal scorer. He has improved each year. He also creates his own chances and more importantly he FINISHES those chances. Screw Afinogenov.

Put Max on Thornton's line and give him the chances that he gave Cheechoo and he still wouldn't be a 50 goal scorer. Why? Because he cannot finish like a natural goal scorer. He is overrated.

Hell Fischer and Kronwall together is even better. We all love Kronwall because we see his potential and we have seen him play, while you apparently have not.

Yes but Kronwall helps. Holland was on the radio a few days ago and he said that he wanted to sign people to one year deals so they could prove themselves worthy of an extension. Kind of like Samuelsson and Cleary. He also said that he did not want to tie his money up with long contracts because he has to do some re-signing of his own soon. He mentioned that he really wanted to re-sign Datsyuk and Kronwall. Holland wouldn't sit around and 'save' money for Kronwall and Datsyuk to turn around and trade Kronwall. He is not going anywhere. Kronwall is more important to us than Datsyuk because if we lose Dats we obviously have Zetterberg who is better and younger. But we have nobody to serve as a replacement for Kronwall if this stupid rumour is true.

Kronwall wont be traded. Im sure Kenny realizes that he is the future of the blueline. The last Swedish defenseman we drafted and developed turned out to be the best defeseman to ever play in the red and white. While Kronwall is not Nicklas Lidstrom right now, he has the potential to be. I wouldn't trade Kronwall under any circumstance. THEY WOULD BE GETTING NIKLAS KRONWALL! HOW DOESNT THAT HELP THEM?!

I will definitely agree with you on this one. Zetts and Kronner are going nowhere. I doubt this trade will happen...after all Kenny has more important things to do other than his job. But if it did happen Buffalo would be building a dream team of young talent.

Yeah he has to earn his dues for a few season in GR. But I do think he will be a top 3 or 4 dman in years to come. And as eva said, he was not at Fisch's level or Kronwall's level coming out of junior. Then again each of those guys were amazing and will be top two dmen. (well Fisch would have been) What a shame.
