I dunno guys.....call me a pessimist, but I see the Wings having a LOT of trouble winning games throughout October. It might get so bad that Holland becomes pressured to make a move. I'm not gonna sugar coat it. We've looked AWFUL the first three games. We blew in Sweden and escaped with a win (thanks to one of Ozzy's best games) on Thursday. This is absolutely the last thing we need. This season isn't looking too good at this point.

Jeez, talk about escaping with a win. We did not deserve that one. We have a LOT to work on as a team. At this point, it'll be a miracle to make the playoffs.

Great way to start the season boys, 0-2! Hopefully we'll win our real home opener. These two games didn't really give me much to look forward to.

Ugh, I only managed to get 50% off CI. But maybe thats because I only joined Directv last month and they called my bluff about paying a $250 cancellation fee to switch providers. Whatever, better then nothing.

Yea, its a Canadian thing. Just like here, we sometimes get TSN feeds through Center Ice.

That is absolutely NOT true. Versus has exclusive rights to certain games meaning there simply is no RSN feed of any kind. Basically, if you can't watch Versus, you can't watch the game. I'm still praying they come to a deal in the eleventh hour before Friday.

Jeez.....Howard or Dan.......thats a tough one. After his Vancouver days, Cloutier hasn't been able to stop a freakin beach ball if it came right at him. And Howard, well......I really haven't seen his "brilliance" that the Wings organization has gone on about. We've put a lot of money and effort into him and if doesn't shine this season, I say it's time to part ways. The times he's been brought up to pro's haven't been that impressive in the least.

What? You make absolutely no sense and have no logical connection with any points. You claim you were just trying to say that "we would still cheer for the Lakers like we do the Wings if they're struggling", yet that isn't even REMOTELY implied from your original post. What are you talking about? And even if its a personal choice, why assume Wing fans like the Lakers? That makes absolutely no sense either. Are you suffering from off-season dementia or what?

What the hell makes you think Wing fans like the Lakers, or even basketball for that matter? I sure as hell don't. Plus I hold zero respect for Kobe, and have tons for Pavel so no comparison there. And the fact that you say most Wing fans like the Lakers too because "they have lots of rings and a history" is insulting by implying that we're all bandwagon jumpers and leads me to assume you're a troll or an idiot.

For those of you with Directv, they have just taken down the HD feed for Versus. Now you can only watch SD. Seems like they're pulling closer to removing the channel altogether.....
