Anyone else catch the end of this one? Crosby deflected a goal OBVIOUSLY with his stick above the cross bar, and they called it a good goal. Bettman must have called immediately to make sure the goal counted for his little boy scout. I'm pissed off and I'm not even a Buffalo fan.

Even though I have repeatedly said that I did not intend this to be a Crosby hate thread, I'm still getting quoted out of context and bashed. I suppose its my fault for putting that little Crosby/Bettman comment but given the situation happen to involve Crosby, how could I resist. I noticed watching the NHL network last night that even one of the "On the Fly" analysts flat out said, "different rules for different players". That said, I SOLELY intended this thread to be discussion based around the controversial goal last night, a legitimate topic, not how many ways we can say Crosby sux. Look at my history, I don't believe I've ever even participated in a Crosby bashing thread. And to the one dude who called me a "homer".....what? I could give a rat's ass who won the game fairly, I just thought the goal looked bad. If the teams were reversed I STILL would have made the damn thread.....its worth discussing. Geez

Seeing that it WAS Crosby who happened to be the one who deflected the goal, ofcourse I'm gonna take the opportunity to make a Bettman/Crosby love comment. This doesn't mean that I intended this to be a Crosby hate thread and I STILL would have made the thread regardless of who it was that deflected the goal. When I originally saw the game on TV, the play looked like it was an obvious no goal, and I got upset enough to vent on the boards. Since everyone is crying, whining, and basically just flipping out and accusing each other of this and that, JUST CLOSE THE DAMN THREAD.

Taking another look at it, it does seem closer then I originally thought.....though, I still think its above the cross bar line. And also, I would have started this thread whether Crosby was the goal scorer or not. People here who are getting upset because I was trying to start another "Crosby hate" thread are wrong, my intention was solely to highlight the continuing impotence of the NHL.

Kings play every game like a playoff game, I love their intensity.......Wings could learn a thing or two from them. Little talent, lots of heart.

3 Goals in two games DATZZZZZ

Sharks brought it to us in the first 10 mins or so of the first. We had some lucky bounces and shaky goaltending and the game could have gone the Sharks way quickly. We turned it around the second half of the first and never looked back.

lol......for those of you who missed it, the ending FSN score board shows a Coyotes symbol for Detroit and the Red Wing logo for the Sharks. Man, they've been off tonight. AWESOME GAME!
