you guys want to trade Hudler for a guy who has 7 games played and is still unsure if he can play even now. Hudler is our trade bait.........we can land someone better then Bertuzzi. If no other deals can get done, then I'm for this.....but only as a last resort. I don't wanna lose our trade bait to Bertuzzi.......not when so many better deals can get done

i'm afraid if we get this guy, he wont be able to play. even now in florida, he keeps delaying his time for return. I still think its too risky......we should save hudler for trade bait and get someone better

Bertuzzi's probably not even at 100%!! He is way too risky to acquire. Thats like throwing away a good prospect to get an injury ridden player

Hey moron, whens the last time we NEEDED to make a deal with the Blues? If you actually knew anything about the NHL, you'd know that this is Guerin's first year with the Blues, he was with the Stars before that. And as for Tkachuk, believe it or not, Blues are usually a playoff team. Last year was the first time in a long time that they didn't make it. Tkachuk was a big part of those Blues playoff runs. You'd think they'd trade top players before hitting the playoffs?.......NO. Just because you pick the Red Wings in video games, doesn't make you a fan. A GM isnt gonna hold a player from trade because they "hate" the team. are you high? Williams is probably the most useless player on the team (him or Lilja). This is the guy who missed the empty net last night from like 3 feet away. This is the guy who has had passes handed to him that should have resulted in gimmie goals, that he can't put in. This is the guy that for every goal he has this season are pretty much crap goals....and by crap goals i mean empty netters, or lucky bounces. He needed to step up, he hasn't.........time to go bye-bye. I honestly consider most of our prospects better then him. As for Cleary, I think he does have plenty of potential and I'm all for keeping him. Just need to wait for another streak.

the asking price for these star players is just way too high and i don't think we're gonna do it. Personally, I believe we are gonna do a trade but its not gonna be a top league winger. I think we're gonna give off maybe 1 prospect, Williams, and/or a draft pick and get a SOLID winger. Lapointe? Nolan? I don't think they would be bad at all.....and even though i really don't like Bertuzzi, I think he'd be a good fit on the team but with all the injuries its just waaaaaay too risky.

we'll just see what happens. the fact is, we DO right now have a good team.....if Holland has a chance to make it better by adding a reliable winger for down the road, then awesome........if we don't end up getting anyone, I'm sure its not because Holland was sitting on his ass or playing golf and not giving a s*** like a lot of people think. I'd like to see someone new here before the deadline, but i do not think its absolutely necessary.

well first and foremost we need to get rid of Lang cause he's lazy and sucks. no, but seriously......lang is awesome, we all go through slumps and he's one of the few dependable guys come playoff time. I can see us giving up Williams, Maltby, a rookie, or a draft pick and us getting Keith Tkachuk, Bill Guerin, or Owen Nolan.
