Theres a good chance we might be picking him up by the trade deadline, now that Doan has re-signed with the Coyotes. (Coyote scouts have attended the last few games).I personally think he would add some toughness to the team, and is a reliable forward. Though I still would rather get Foresberg.......then maybe Guerin......and if we couldn't pick those two up, then I think Nolan would be a good choice.

I'm sorry, but 13 goals is not what i call "too slow and washed up". I understand he's no Foresberg, but he's still a pretty reliable winger and I think he would do a LOT better in Williams' place.

when stuff like this happens against teams like Anaheim and San Jose....it hurts....but its more justifiable, considering those are elite teams. Right now we are getting blown out by the worst team in the NHL. I'm seriously spechless.

is it just me or do the players on the ice seem to moving REALLY fast?. like twice as fast as usual.......or maybe im trippin

if we get a player.....can we at least get a RELIABLE player? I mean, it seems like all the players that Holland is interested in are injury prone. Bertuzzi is just comming off a surgery and says himself he isnt 100% and Foresberg seems to always be injured. I mean....come on......get someone who will at LEAST last through the playoffs

honestly, all anyone ever does is praise this guy. the whole red wing club, most these boards.....usually only praise him. I have yet to see him to anything worth praising. He can't score, and he plays "average" defense at best (though I'd still take him WAY over Lilja). When this guy was injured for most of last season, everyone was saying, "oh, if only we had Kronwall". Yea....right....I can see how big of a difference he makes on the ice.....

the kid in me wants shanny back, plain and simple. Growing up and watching Yzerman and Shanny dominate the ice, I just need at least 1 of them to still be there next season. Losing my top two favorite players in one season would hurt like hell. Yes, he did not come through for us in the playoffs, but then again.......who did? (besides the insanely great zetterberg). I totally favor seeing him next season with the wings.....where he belongs.

even though i think 4 mil is a bit much, i dont think my heart could take losing both Yzerman AND Shanny next season. I really hope he stays. so Shanny is signed?
