Anyone else get the winter classic ticket e-mail yesterday? Basically, had a two hour time frame to buy tickets for the game yesterday. Picked up two good seats for $500 for the pair. Seemed crazy expensive until I hit up stubhub after and saw equivalent tickets were going for around $600 PER ticket. Anyway, finally locked in!

Hahaha. And a NTC to boot. I appreciate Cleary's hard work here over the years, and his come back story is an awesome one, but I definitely won't miss seeing him loose every puck battle he's in and fall on his face every shift. The guy is do doubt one of the hardest workers but simply doesn't have the skill to match. Good luck Cleary! Enjoy your massive overpayment! -

Funny, was just having a discussion on these forums about how important our scouts were. This is a huge blow but honestly, Hakan is the essentially piece. He's the guy who pretty much hand picked Datsyuk, Hank, Franzen, Nyquist....and of course Lidstrom He's the guy we can't lose under any circumstances. -
Haven't watched a lot of Tampa games, but apparently the consensus is his two way game has been lacking the last few years. Bad coverage in own zone, slow to get back on defense, floating more. The hope is Weiss is a star that has been stuck with crap linemates his career. Having some decent pairings should really allow him to showcase his talent. key is staying healthy......

Holland simply doesn't learn. Wish I could say I don't believe it, but completely expected from the guy who ran after Modano, Sammy, and Jagr. 40 years old and will have to adopt to a brand new system and style of play All thats left now is Clearly and that will be our free agent splash. -

Grabovski.....the guy who's not afraid to punch women in the face or demand a trade when you're scratched for a game. The dude has major major attitude problems and am even surprised he's being considered. Not the type of attitude we want in our dressing room, especially with the youngins.
