So let me get this straight. Bringing in Brunstrom, a young guy who tore it up in Sweden, a guy looking for a fresh start (sound familiar?), and would sign for league minimum = BAD Bringing in a guy at the end of his career to a team thats in desperate need of younger guys for 1mil = GOOD LGW boggles the mind at times.

I just continue to be in awe of Holland's amazing negotiating abilities. The guy just continues to have one great signing after another. Best GM in the league right there! Am I right or am I right? +1 please!

If that's true, it really didn't seem like it. I remember a ton of offensive dry spells, both last year and the year before.

I suppose I can take that to an extent. I just love how everyone on here calls this signing by the rangers dumb and the Franzen signing by Holland as "genius". Talk about homerism.

Holland believes the team that had trouble scoring more than a goal or two against the sharks doesn't need more forward support. Genius. Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the Wings shut out the most times in like 20 years last season?
