With real trade bait lacking on the team, I think we can pretty much say goodbye to either Flip, Hudler, or Cleary.

Hudler had a nice little spurt of point production between Christmas and the end of February. Thats pretty much it. Following that, he went pointless for seven games and finally started doing something again around the beginning of the playoffs (as others had mentioned, so did the rest of the team.) Franzen's longest pointless drought was 4 games, while Hudler's was 13. To even fathom the notion that Hudler is as/more valuable than Franzen makes one question your sanity. You mean all ONE game of it?

Or calls up the Tampa Bay GM and asks for advice.

This actually makes me feel worse. Ending the series with the notion that Bert and Cleary were done for the playoffs provided at least a tad of "hey, we'd be royally screwed if we were to advance to the next round anyway." Seeing Cleary good to go one game into the series just makes me beg the question so much more... 'What if'.....

This guy has gotten mixed reviews from day 1. Some love him, others hate. Personally, I've never been a fan. Sure, he knocks a guy down once in a while, something that (sadly) is a rarity for this team, but he's also a turn over machine and contributes very little to offense. He also can't seem to win ANY puck battles for the life of him. Yet, people will continue to defend him here cause he's the sole source of any "grit" this team has. Anyway, considering he's simply been god awful this series, what do you think? Sit for playoffs? Cut him in the off-season?

It's funny how Stevie Y was able to turn a non-playoff team into a conference final team in the course of ONE season. While our guy, uh, set us up for a repeat of last year. OWNED.

Well I agree with you in terms of Cleary. I swear the guy loses every single puck battle and seems to fall down every chance he gets. If I had it my way, Ericsson, Abdelkader, Cleary, and Flip (mini Dats....give me a fuc*in break) would all be on the chopping block for next season.
