Id love to see him in Detroit but Wings don't lack in scoring its our physical play we need, so Kariya is not needed here unfortunately

I agree. If someone who doesn't watch hockey regularly and sees a commercial like that may draw him to watch the next game. You need to show what appeals to people and violence is one of those very things.

It is sad that ESPN doesn't cover the NHL and how under appreciated it is. But I think we just need to give it some time. I don't get VS I live in Canada so I dont know how it is. But at least you get some game coverage right?

Thats not true. I remeber when SanJose fans were booin the canadian anthem, and the next time it went to Edmonton instead of us booin the american anthem they all sang it. I live in Canada and i have never ever heard them boo the american anthem

The ratings are terrably low though. NHL was just embarressed by NBC, that alone shows how Hockey is being viewed now. The lockout really messed thngs up and Bettman in my view was the reason for that. The sport needs to grow again and with Bettman thats not gonna happen.

I cannot wait until the regular season. I feel it will be better then 06-07. Our team is better and if we get Bertuzzi who would be healthy we could rock! WINGS FOR 07-08!!!!!!!!!

We dont need anymore talented players we have enough already...Franzen,Flippula, and Hudler are only getting better. What we need is depth. God would I love to see Mcarty back! We need bigger and tougher guys and we would rock it!

I agree with u about Hasek. I really do like the guy but he is only getting older and more of a chance of getting injured. Its time to move on, he did well for us but I just wouldn't want to see him back.

Well Wings I thank you for a great thrilling playoff run. I think all of us can say it was awesome. You guys made every sereies entertaining and I thank you for your effort. We can always get them next year! Thanks Wings!!!

History won't have anything to do for us in game 6. Wings know what they have to do and that is to win. Its not like its a free gimmy just because they did it in 2002. Now lets stop dwelling on the past because in won't solve anything. In 02 we had yzerman,shanahan,fedorov,hull,robitalle, in our lineup so its a complete diffrent team. If the wings do win game 6 its beacuse we played with heart. GO WINGS GO!!!

Good word by Mike, so many people are counting out the wings when the series is still running. Detroit knows what is at stake, do u not believe they will play with all their might on tuesday. I have full faith in the wings to win game 6 and if they don't I still congrat them for playing with their heart. GO WINGS GO!!

I am really sad about this loss.But im getting tired with some of people's excuses of why the wings lost, but the fact is we should have won game 4 and 5 but we didn't. I believe we can win game 6, Detroit knows what is at stake and will play with all their might! Don't stop believing, the wings are playing this playoff with soo much heart, they will show it more then ever on tuesday. Wings can do it!

Thats the biggest problem if found with Detroit. Sometimes it seems we don't want it badly enough!!!

Wings need to play a full 60 mintutes, not 30. They can't actually think they can beat the Sharks when u only play half the game. It was a sad 3rd period effort and we gave them the win. Wings are gonna have to play alot better on wensday if they wanna get the win. I know they can do it, I just wonder if they have the haert for it. If wings go down 3-1 in the series, Well then we are in deep deep deep trouble
