Helm's line still looks somewhat nervous out there. Patience with the Mule, although he didn't score tonight he had a sick feed to Datsyuk for his goal, and looked to show a little more urgency out there. Its only a matter of time I think till the Mule is at full strength. Great game for the 2nd line though, Flip and Bert really suprised me with their play. I hadn't see Bertuzzi get that angry in a long time.

Won't get to watch this game, unless Im lucky enough to catch the ending. Mule nets 2 goals though, hopefully it results in a W.

I think Helm will come out flying tommorow,hopefully Eaves too, and Abs knows he has just gotta go out there and throw his weight around, so hopefully this team can show some urgency tommorow night, and dominate the way we are capable of doing. our penalty killing during the playoffs continues to blow so far. Detroit just collapses and the Coyotes have all the room at the point to make plays like that.

MVP: Pavel Datsyuk Sleeper: Franzen, Howard I also think Holmstrom might have one of his best playoff runs if we make it far. Howard is a rookie, to be the MVP isn't easy, and would come as a suprise to me if he were to get it.

I'd like to say Phoenix, but I have a feeling if we go against a team that plays Dave Tippet hockey, the series could turn out to be a long one. Then again our other options aren't much better. We can shut down the Sedin's with Howard not choking but actually playing like regular season Howard, which will then allow Lids to get his job done, except other players like Kesler, Burrows, Raymond, Demitra, can make up for it. Then theirs Looooooooouuuuuuu so... Chicago will beat any low bottom seeders except if its against Detroit. Not saying they can't beat us, but Hawks know the Wings will put up a first round fight like no other. San Jose, well Heatley can produce in the playoffs, So can Boyle and he is on top of his game. Thorton and Marleau choke, but maybe a player like Heatley, can be able to get them far enough, but of course a team like Detroit comes along in the first round, just the very luck the Sharks have. I'd say Detroit would probably fair best with Phoenix, but it wouldn't be as exciting as Chicago or Vancouver would be.

Flip has to stop being so passive with the puck or else he could be a great player. Until he shows some agressiveness like zetterberg does carrying the puck, 50 points a year will be his worth, with a couple 60 point seasons on his resume. Yes he'll hit 40 points if he plays the rest of the remaining season. Zetterberg seems like he is revolted and Flip has played pretty good recently so I wouldn't doubt it. Once Mule gets his stride back with Dats, this team will be real dangerous.
