The skilled players weren't really going either though. Now that they are, maybe Lids can get back to his scoring capabilities too. Sad to see his age slowing him down finally, hard to believe when its ageless Nick.

Ive also noticed Ericsson has a tendency to throw the puck down the middle, sometimes not even looking. Thats gotta stop.

Ive noticed Stuart and Lebda play well together, So maybe pair up Ericcson with Kronwall or Lids and see if that helps his defensive play.

Things I observed being at the game: Stuart played his best game of the season Bertuzzi continues to be active out there, but has no confidence in finishing Zetterberg has to stop floating so much, he would be so much more effective if he didn't. Lebda actually played decent game, saved a goal too Detroit moved the puck around the best they have done all season, and it reminded me of exactly how the team played in 08 All in all, THAT was Detroit hockey.

I agree that last year it was not the goaltending troubling the wings. But if we didn't turn the puck over so much this year, I would accuse the netminders so far.

I think its just leading from example. Show some intensity on the ice and bench, and just continue showing concern on improving. I don't doubt Lids at all though.

The goalie has been known for his good winning record from what I remember, but I always heard Bruins fans criticizing him.

Going to the game as well. Last Detroit game i went too they were 30 seconds away from winning the stanley cup. Of the total 6 Detroit games ive attended, we have one once. Wings, win this one for me.

if anything i am excited for this year. its been forever since i felt any intensity towards the regular season. Now we get to see some unlikely heroes, and a more grinding effort.
