Is it me or does it look like Huds gained some pounds?

Sometimes i think people just insult Sammy to "fit" in. The guy is hardly as bad as people make him out to be, and is great for a third line player. For the fourth line I have been optomistic whether to keep Maltby in the lineup if other players are above value then his playing. As much as I love Helm I dont mind seeing him succeed another year in GR. It comes down if Babs wants a offensively skilled 4th line or a in your face kind of one.

You do realize this is a forum don't you....Its all speculation, and thats what makes debates, and conversation. People will share their ideas on what they want, and of course that will spark arguements and discussions. I sometimes question what people expect out of a forum when coming to them and making posts like this....

ok but im not going against the name on the back, im just stating its time to move on....That doesn't make me any less of a fan, I just simply want other players to take his role on the team. I have nothing against Chelios, I just don't see much positive of him staying, and TBH I think Wings would be perfectly fine without him. He is past his prime obvouisly, and he is only gonna get worse as each season goes by.

So we need to get a life because we feel its only time to move on from Chelios....WTF?!?! And if he could outplay Lilja and Lebda at this stage, then why the flying f**k was he not dressed in the finals, and why the f**k would Kenny re-sign Lilja if he plain sucked....You must be 10...maybe 11

I never wanted Helm over Kopecky, I wanted him over Maltby.

I love the kid. Being at game 5 of the finals, Helm boosted the whole staduim up when he scored, and just being able to watch Huds and Darren's excitment is a memory I will soon not forget. He brings life to the Wings with his energy, and thats what I love most about him. Also to whoever says he is too small to use his body, I recall him being one of the most players out there on the Wings throwing his body around.

Babs sure knows what he is doing! Hudler was just awesome in the playoffs, and I think that will give him the confidence to play a regular second line role this year. Dats pairing with Hossa is just dynamite, and Franzen does play his best when alongside Zetterberg. If injuries dont take a role (knocks on wood) We will be seeing a exciting season ahead of us.

Glad to see its worked out. Im very excited for the upcoming training camp this year and to see who will shine or dissapoint. We all know trades are coming considering once we probably re-sign both Mcarty and Chelios we will be over the cap.
