It was as if the Wings knew they were gonna come back. They had a interview with Lidstrom during the 2nd intermission and he was super calm, mentioning what they had to do in the final period and wasn't hesitant at all. You gotta respect him! Even though the wings did not come back it was damn close, if it were not for Getzlaf and his 3rd period goal.....

Off topic here but I see your from Calgary, well me too. Though Im sad to see you have a picture of Gelinias in Calgary as your DP. Now I know you like him and thats the reason but he was the man that killed my spirits for a very long time. You see I was at game 6 in 2004 right behind Joseph when Gelinias put the puck past him (In fact in some pictures you can see my wings jersey). I still see it in my dreams at times.......Anyways I was just hoping if you could find him in a different picture when he was with Carolina or something, if thats not too much to ask. As you probably know, I have to see too much of the Flames everyday, and Letsgowings.com is the one place I know I can get away from them and do not have to see the C. I just have a true hatred for that team, and it would make me feel a lot better.Thank you!

We really didn't need to do much. Now that Flippula and Hudler have a year experience, they are only gonna get better. Same goes for Kopecky, I think he is going to have a better season. Franzen seems to be finding his place on the team. All I believe Kenny should get is two gritty players, one on D and one on Offense. We have scoring, thats no question....

I do thank Lang and Schnieder for one thing. If they weren't their in game 5 vs Sharks, we MAY have not passed the 2nd round.....

I guess its just in me but I would take back any Red Wing if it were Fedorov or Shannahan, And yes even Mcarty. Having Shanny or Sergei back would feel like old times. and not to mention how well Fedorov would play with Pavel or Hendrik.

Thats what a forum is though. You will always have people overreacting as they do every year. It never will be good enough for some. But it does open for discussion, and if everyone thought the same and no one complained about anyhthing...how fun would that be?

I have always liked Lilja, not just for those 2 months. And yes when I watch Lebda he is always falling on the ground and getting overpowered. But thats just my observation. I do love Lebda's speed, but I never found that to be lacking for Detroit's defense much to begin with. I prefer Lilja over Lebda, thats just me though, my personal opionen.

I do hope Markov comes back. Though I would rather have Lilja then Lebda. Lebda gets pushed around too much while Lilja has more of an edge to him Plus Wings already have alot of offensive defensemen.

I like the forward lines alot...Though I would switch Lilja and Lebda around.

I can really see Kenny trying to go after Peter. He is looking for a veteran forward that would only sign a 1 year contract. the only problem is...would forsberg go to Detroit?

ha its about time they do something

Kenny did a great job this summer by not doing anything stupid. Signing Bert or Guerin that much is outrageous. People panic when its 6 days into free agency, WTF is up with that!!!! Replacing Rafalski over Schneider works as a benifit. Then getting Hasek for only 2 million is a steal! Kenny has now 7 million to work with. He has numerous help from his staff and I have no doubt he will do something to make our team better before training camp or at the deadline. Saying he only did 25% is the stupidest thing I have heard today. Just because he wanted to do those things doesn't mean its a priority! They're is still plenty of players on the market that show grit. Like I said before, its only day 6!!! Some of you guys are busting my balls....
