Hasek won't leave don't worry, he loves Detroit. Hopefully Kenny gets a top 6 forward and a top 6 defensemen as well. I just pray the guys he picks are gritty, because god we need that!

No the reason is because he wanted too much money and didn't want a contract for 1 year. Believe me if Bert was asking only 3 million for 1 year he would be with us right now. Detroit needs grit, Holland knows that. None of our young players provide that....

The only concern I have is the lack of grit, And with Bert not coming back It really stings. But Kenny has already stated that he was now going for that. So I trust in him to get it done.

Kenny will probably sign a forward and a grittier defense men by the begging of the summer. Its not like just because we lost Bert we now rely on our youngsters.
