Some of those hits are clean, some of them are by dirty players. What is your point ? I guess my comment of "in todays game" should not have been said like that. It doesn't change my opinion on the hit.

My problem is that there is a lack of respect in the todays game for other players.

This is another hit where although I don't think there should be a penalty, Joe Thornton should show some respect for the player he is about to hit. YES Perron should should have his head up, yes it was a suicide pass but Thornton knows what the outcome is about to be. This is just lack of respect knowing you are going to cream a guy who doesn't know it is coming.

I didn't bash him for anything above. I said he doesn't fight fighters, which he doesn't. I bash him because he attacked the Panther player in a crying baby fit. I bash him because he whines. I bash him because he goes after people when he is frustrated. He is a hell of a player but I would respect him more if he just played and didn't try fighting guys because he is losing and frustrated. A great example is when he went after Zetterberg with about 10 cross checks to his back all because the baby was shut down. What did you think about him going after Z like that ?

I don't consider them big time fighters. 2 or 3 fights a year is not a fighter.

That "fight" against the Panthers was such a ***** move by Crosby. He basically attacked the guy and it was because they were losing. It's things like that which makes me hate him. He is a good player but he will never fight anyone who actually fights.

Just got done brewing a peach wheat. This one should turn out well. I was sober during the whole brewing process and it went smoothly.

What led up to the conversation in the faceoff circle ? I am surprised it was a suspension at all. It looked like Briere just tried to hit him with his arms and his stick slid up and over him. I think Carcillo did the damage there. I don't see Brieres stick make contact.

Another hit when a player is in a vulnerable position. These are the hits I hate. It is the responsibility of the hiter to let up. I know it is a fast game. I just think this is a hit that shouldn't happen. I don't think it is a penalty and it doesn't deserve a suspension but this is a lack of respect hit.

This one is tough. I don't like when they say someone was "targeting the head" because I think that implies that it was a head shot on purpose. My problem with this hit is the guy is in a vulnerable position. I don't see much head contact but again it is hard to tell.
