A few friends and I are thinking about heading to Pittsburg for Tuesdays game. We are going to try to get tickets but if we dont, does anyone know about the big screen they setup outside ? Can anyone just walk up and watch ? Most importantly, is there a beer tent or can you bring your own beer ? Any other ideas as to where we could go watch the game ?

I fly out tomorrow to Dallas and was wondering if anyone knows where I can watch the game. I assume my hotel will not have Versus. Will it be on Versus there ? Any ideas ? I know someone on here is from Texas. Thanks in advance

I wasnt able to book my own room. The issue I may run into is lack of Wings/hockey fans in Dallas and them not wanting the game on at the bar.

What was the penalty on Ericsson after the 5 minute major BS ? I didnt see it and of course VS didnt show the replay of it. I just noticed Ericsson complaining to the ref about it. Anyone know ?

I thought the trainer said he was coughing up blood ? If so, that didnt happen from the elbow. Also, the elbow was 100% accidental.

There must be something about empty seats at the Joe that makes it show up more on TV. It pisses me off when people see the end or beggning of a period when people are up getting food, going to the bathroom etc and are not in their seats ignoring later on in the period when the seats are filled.

I don't remember who on Columbus it was but when they tried to drive Pavel into the ice next to the net. Klesla ? That was WAY worse that this tiny little punch. Pavel could have been seriously injured. This was nothing.

If Lilja scored more you guys would like him. It seemed a lot of people on this board liked Schneider a lot and he was a turnover machine and wasnt very good on defence. There was a lot of notice of him though because he did have a great shot from the point. The truth of the matter is that Lilja is good. If he wasnt....he wouldnt be playing on this team every game.

I can see that move drawing a lot of penalties but there are a lot of players in the NHL that do that or something similar.

I fully expect the Flames to come out and play flat out dirty. They will be 100 time more physical Sunday. I notice this is the part of their game they lacked Thursday night.

I dont know about him being a cheap shot but he sure is a baby. When a player like Hank hits him completely cleanly and he has to go after him ?? Total baby. That is everything I hate about todays NHL player. They get hit cleanly and then cry and go after the guy like they got run from behind into the boards. Hank did nothing to warrant Iginla going after him...simple as that.

I believe it. I know a few of the players have a problem with Babcock and I know that he is one of the reasons Shanny left. I dont know exactly what they dont like about him but I know he is not a well liked coach.

That sucks. I saw him play in Russia and he is FUN to watch. Very talented although I think he is one of those guys like Federov who could be the best in the league but doesnt seem to show up every night.
