    Ducks respond on hit.....

holy s***!!! go to tsn and watch the Brian Burke press conference. that man is in total denial and is bordering on dillusional. he almost suggests that pronger is the victim because hes so tall that he cant help it. yeah, thats a great message to send to the league....."hey if youre tall you can hit people in the head because you cant help it". wow, just wow wings in 5

Game 3: Kopecky in, Calder out

im sure Kopecky's conditioning is pretty damn good. as someone said earlier, he hasnt been sitting around on the couch everyday, i can garauntee you that. so i wouldnt worry about him dragging ass. making "game" decisions might be another story though. my thinking is that Kopecky is definitely in the lineup for the added size. obviously we werent getting any scoring from calder so theres not going to be a drop off in that dept. and while Huds has a scoring touch, i think the ducks would exploit his small frame and effectively neutralize him. and bottom line.....Calder, Kopecky, or Hudler probably wouldnt play over 7-8 minutes anyway, so we might as well get somone with some drive and intensity to lay a few hits out there. anyway, the first period of tomorrows game will probably be indicative of what shape we'll be in coming back to det.........get on em early and i wont be surprised if its wings 3-1 heading back to the joe. another slow start though and the opposite could also be true. GO WINGS!!!!

How long until we get Kronwall back?

man we would be stacked on D right now if Kronwall, Scheider, and god willing..Fisher were all healthy. to much depth though, someone would get screwed Lidstrom - Markov Schnieder - Fisher Kronwall/Lebda/Quincy-Chelios id take that set of D-men over Anehiems anyday, not to mention every other team in the league to bad we will probably never see it

Sharks Making Bigger Mistakes Than They Think

absolutely correct. its his timing, reflex, and hand eye coordination (not to mention being insane enought to stand infront of a 90mph slapper) anybody remember the opening goal of Game 7 vs Colorado in 2002???? falling down parallel to the ice and still gets his stick on it to deflect it past Roy

schnieder has a broken arm for sure. did you see how quickly he stopped playing and went right to the bench? why do bad things happen to good teams?!?!?!?!

2007 Photoshop War: Red Wings vs Sharks

thanks, i think ive found my calling....now if i can just get someone to pay me for this. im quietly wishing for a conference final against the ducks. id have a photoshop hayday with Pronger!!!
  12. ok so heres a list of the current NHL captains (for the vacancies i just took the obvious). with the exception of a certain #12, i dont see any of them that would engage in the lunacy that occured yesterday. youd think someone who played on the canadian national team with the the greatest captain in the history of sports would have adopted a stronger sense of leadership. anyway, im already feeliing a little deja-vu tonight (game 7 vs Col 2002, 7-0) a complete and udder dismantling. GO WINGS!!!!!!!!! Team Captains Anaheim Ducks: Scott Niedermayer Atlanta Thrashers: Scott Mellanby Boston Bruins: Zdeno Chara Buffalo Sabres: Daniel Briere & Chris Drury Calgary Flames: Jarome Iginla Carolina Hurricanes: Rod Brind'Amour Chicago Blackhawks: Adrian Aucoin Colorado Avalanche: Joe Sakic Columbus Blue Jackets: Adam Foote Dallas Stars: Brenden Morrow Detroit Red Wings: Nicklas Lidstrom Edmonton Oilers: Jason Smith Florida Panthers: Olli Jokinen Los Angeles Kings: vacant (Rob Blake) Minnesota Wild: Mark Parrish Montreal Canadiens: Saku Koivu Nashville Predators: Kimmo Timonen New Jersey Devils: Patrik Elias New York Islanders: Alexei Yashin New York Rangers: Jaromir Jagr Ottawa Senators: Daniel Alfredsson Philadelphia Flyers: vacant (Gagne) Phoenix Coyotes: Shane Doan Pittsburgh Penguins: vacant (Crosby) San Jose Sharks: Patrick Marleau St. Louis Blues: Dallas Drake Tampa Bay Lightning: Tim Taylor Toronto Maple Leafs: Mats Sundin Vancouver Canucks: Markus Naslund Washington Capitals: Chris Clark

    TKACHUK or GUERIN ?

so now that foresberg is no longer an option who would you rather get? Ive never really liked Tkachuk but his size is certainly appealing. Guerin is obviously having a great season and would be a nice addition as well. I think id go with Guerin due to his scoring/speed/size combination

    TKACHUK or GUERIN ?

am i the only one who thinks adding Bertuzzi is insane???? Excluding the fact that hes a washed up dirty player, hes been hurt nearly the entire season. just seems to risky for not much reward
