$35 for the very worst seats in the house... up in those little cubby holes (much like the narrowing room in Willie Wonka) tucked up into the corners. doesn't seem like much of a deal to me, especially since they are having such trouble selling out as it is.

I'm usually astounded by his being wrong on plays like that. I can't stand Emrick. He's probably a hell of a nice guy... but he's definitely a hell of an annoying announcer with his retarded non-hockey words that he tries to add to every sentence. It blows me away that any of your like him and his nasally voice.

I had Center Ice Online last year... FACT: After a month into the season the NHL signed an exclusive deal with DirecTV to show 50 select games only on DirecTV and NHL Network. Since Detroit is a premiere team, many of these games were part of this deal. MANY DETROIT GAMES WERE BLACKED OUT BECAUSE OF THIS! I complained many times, but no help and no discount even though when I paid, it was for the full season before this special "deal" which helped the NHL gain many, but cost us fans. Also, games on Versus and NBC will be blacked out online.

why is anyone giving this site any consideration? whoever is designing these is terrible. It's clear his "Wings concept" is a design stolen from the stitching of a baseball cap. I guess he did his job though, he's getting traffic to his site filled with terrible artwork.

I'm not sure the previous poster was correct about how Yzerman handled the Campbell Bowl... I do remember in '95 when he held it over his head like the Cup... then in '97, he DID indeed touch the bowl, but he made no event of it. He accepted the bowl, grabbed it with one hand and skated quickly off the ice. The announcers commented on how he didn't show any emotion, yet he did indeed take it himself to the locker room as if it were the red-headed step child.

Not that Apple needs any more money or promotion, but I just found that all Stanley Cup Finals games are available on iTunes. (All but Game 6, which will surely be updated within the next 24 hours). Each game is $1.99 How to do it: Open iTunes, select TV Shows... look at the list on the left side of networks, scroll down to NHL. Click that, then SCF, then voila. The videos are formatted in 16x9 which rocks, but they are not HD. not YET, anyhow. edit: Also, each game is around 1.25GB if you're worried about harddrive space... Game 5 is a different story... 2.5GB?

I am super proud of the wings, and extremely disgusted by the officials. this year, especially the playoffs, proved to be the very worst officiating i've seen in all my life. and i'm not just talking while the wings were playing... i watched TONS of playoff hockey this year, and rarely was there a game, stike that, period, where i wasn't amazed at how wrong the officiating was. also, now with the power of DVR and slow-motion playback, i've discovered how wrong the linesman are on offsides calls. but, i will not give the linesman any grief, it's high-flyin' hockey for god sakes... but you refs, oh you refs... how humiliated you should feel.

he's always done this kind of thing, and that's why i love him. he's got his minor and major biases... and they crack me up.

meh, i won't thinks twice if he's gone next year... tired of his mistakes.

would be cool if Toronto would move back to the Western Conf. would love to rejuvenate that rivalry. I'm not sure that would make sense though, I'm sure ******-Bettman would rather have the two nearly intra-city teams be in the same division... which he could be correct in doing, so maybe I shouldn't have included his name next to a popular decision such as that.
