Trouba could still want a trade, by signing he makes him self more valuable so teams might raise their payment, which gets teams up to Winnipeg's demands

I think when it comes down to it, there are a lot of scape goats, but the roblrm is Holland. We spend to the cap and don't have a 1c, a 1w, a 1 or 2 d, and a 5 million dollar back up, we have a 4 million dollar 3rd liner with no hands(helm) and a poor mans lucic, backes (abdelkader) our roster is built like hell. Is it not a surprise our best player has actual size and the minute he goes down we tank hard, yet keep a 6-5 mantha who can score in the AHL... ? Management is the issue... He has his behind good drafting for years

Loyalty to someone like Cleary, does make a difference to other players that sign here.. Maybe small but it counts as a class act team that will take care of its players.. Give him a shot at an NHL contract somewhere or end up in the minors again (most likely the case)

Holland should have signed, Radulov, and Vanek on stop gaps. So we could trade away wingers for a D man, we need to move wingers, its our only strong pos. But somehow in a winger heavy market, we didn't sign a single one!

I'm sorry but one year for radulov at 6, we are stupid for not matching that.

Im still mad that we didnt go after Radulov, How could you not fit him in for 2 years, and still had Nielsen. instead we bring back Helm, for too long and eat up money that could have went on a trial deal for Radulov. For the numbers people could be throwing at Matt Martin, Helm will be def. Getting offers, he was one of our players with value. He won't be a wjng next season ans I have a feeling of Martin can get a 3.5-4, helm easily gets 4 aav

I have an off the ball idea, would people be apposed to moving a roster guy now for a guy like Morin/hagg from the flyers, highly doubt we pull out a guy like Proverov, but we could take a cap dump for a short term and a good prospect and not have to deal goose or Tatar, deeoena our prospect pool and I feel we can deal with Philly

Detroit should bring In a winger, let it be Radulvo, Okposo, Eriksson. This makes it easier to move a younger winger for d help for the next 5-7 years.

Sigh, people not giving holland credit, do people really think ARZ called him and said "errrr myyyy goodddd, we need chychru.... Whatever you want...!!!" No a vet GM, played his cards right didn't try to ask for too much and our team as of today is in a better position because of it.... You don't fluke into this streak and his job... My new dream list now, is move a pick for Stamkos rights, and sign him before Tampa can even make a pitch and hear how much they hate the person that was their savior...
