This team never ceases to amaze me with how sloppy they can play, and how many times they can get out shot and lead in turnovers, I think you can count on one hand how many tape to tape passes we made.

Not a bad period, some meh turnovers but that seemed to be the only good chances that TB got that period.

It's amazing how we get no second chances, no sustained pressure.

Difference is, guys like McCarty and Drake could make more then a physical difference. I wish we could get a guy like clutterbuck, or such. A guy that is hell on the forechecking but if he gets the chance to shoot he can bury it. Size doesn't matter, the style does. A lot of the best grinders, aren't 6-5 230.I hate them but guys like Marchand, Shaw, they make a difference and if they were on our team we would love them. It's what we need guys like Callahan to become.

Richards only can make one of two plays there, push Mcdavid off sides or haul him down. McDavid has body position and a lot more speed. He would have owned Z on that play as well Hahahahahahaahahaha

I will say, watching NHL network and seeing players you want to DVR... And it was Eichel and Larkin.... No Larkin may never be who Eichel is, but to get a prospect like Larkin when we did and is on the same radar as Eichel is exciting. I'm not trying to get too excited but it's hard not to, he is ready and for him to leap frog our system the way we run it is exciting. I do understand the Jurco worries, but this isn't Jurco... Larkin has already shown more speed and drive then Jurco on my mind. Jurco was famous for YouTube stick handling videos and I believe can be a good player for us, but Larkin surpassed rookie records of Toews, Parise, Kessel, and so on... It's not the same scenario. I feel he is the player that feeds on the pressure and being put in a situation he seems underwhelming in and owns it... WJC, Michigan, he excels and exceeds, he seems to love the pressure...
