should be a fun game, The way the Wings are playing makes them very hard to beat, and Edmonton is laden with injuries. my prediction is Wings win 4-2 DZH line will score 2, and the other two come from unlikely people.

Pavel is fine, He is playing spectacular this season, His points totals say it all. He may not have a ton of goals, yet... but He is a huge huge part of Zetterberg's hot streak, Pavel is not greedy with the puck not saying Hank or anyone else is but he is just as satisfied setting up a beautiful goal as scoring one. Pasha, Z, and Homer are playing amazing and are once again the best line in the NHL. and not to mention extremly entertaining to watch their skill.

haha un-educated fans who all are covinced that Pronger is a god and that is NOT a dirty player. I never thought I'd say this but I miss the "Mighty Ducks" they may not have been as good a team as the new Ducks but they were a lot cleaner team back then as well. Its Pronger whatever team he plays tends to become a hackass, goon squad. with the exception of St. Lois they breed goons in that city.

I hope your right, I was looking forward to him showing his skill at the NHL level, but he just didn't come to play maybe he'll come better prepared and know what to expect if he gets invited back. if not atleast the guy gave it a shot, he could have seen what North American and NHL hockey was like and realized he doesen't like this style of the game and wanted to return home to play Russian Style. and who knows maybe he family wasn't adjusting well and rather than leave for that reason he just didn't give it his all. who knows maybe he just isn't cut out for the NHL in the long run. could be a million reasons. good luck Igor

including the Red Wings my bias opinion is Pavel. his talent is limit-less. also Ovechkin, I can't believe noone has mentioned him yet, if you watch any of his games, he dominates the ice, this guy is amazing and in my opinion other than some of our Red Wing players the best in the league. Noone can stop Ovechkin, pure talent.

hmmm time for Igor to make his NHL debut?

Should be tough game, We have been on the road now for awhile and the guys have to be getting a little tired. With Zetterberg and Lidstrom question will also make this game that much tougher to win. The sharks will be looking for revenge against us for the playoffs and the shark tank will be in a frenzy. Hopefully we can feed off their negative energy towards us and make it positive. Datsyuk and Homer will have to have a awesome game tonight if we have any chance of pulling off the win. Our second and third lines have all been in a slump with the exception of Draper. Ozzy has been playing stellar and should give us a chance to Win as well. Don't know about you guys but I'm missing Markov right about now, With Nick gone he would really help out. No prediction tonight, just wishing the Wings good luck and lets show the Sharks the Wings they feared last season.

fair enough not going to argue with you its just a matter of difference in opinion you probably think Crosby is better than Ovechkin too but as far as last years playoffs went, Datsyuk really stepped up.

Ozzie is playing good right now, but the overall choice is still the Dominator. besides Ozzie doesen't want the starting role he is happy being a backup, ready when we need him. If he was starting we'd be paying him more money.

I disagree on that Zetterberg works harder, He may provide more leadership as of now. Datsyuk and Zetterberg play a different type of game, and their skills show in different ways. I don't agree with your comment on Z being better defensive wise either Datsyuk is a good two way player he steals the puck (more) and better than anyone in the league. Z is good but he don't take the puck from the other team on the PK and take off down the ice with it like Pavel does. Pavel deserves the money he gets and I'd say for his term we got him cheap considering his game is only getting better and better. Both are great players but I think your being alittle to harsh on Pavel. He compliments Z's game more than people realize. and last season when Z was hurt Pavel played just fine if not better. the DZH line is amazing. AKA< The NightMare Line aKA< The UNstoppable Line The only thing is we can depend on them alone the other lines need to get something else going, Draper is on fire but the other guys need to start giving 110% and they will eventually find the back of the net.

I don't think our D is performing bad at all, we've made a few bad plays that have led to goals but noone is perfect, I just think we would be even better with Danny and enjoy his style of play and tough rugged personality.

I think we'll be ok. We'll start off a little shaky from the jet and bus lag, but we'll come back strong and win this game. The Ducks haven't seen the DZH line this year yet, and I don't know if Chrissy Pronger can handle them. and I hope Drake kicks Perry's ass tonight as well. Look out for Homer, I have a feeling he will be taking it to the Ducks tonight, Pronger will be all over him but noone can stop Homer Lets Go wings

Terrible thread idea, I'm going to go with Datsyuk of course but this is bad to compare and make people pick from two players on the Wings. Datsyuk and Zetterberg both are extremly extremly valueble to the team. I don't think we would be as good without either of them, but if I had to pick one of the other I pick Datsyuk but it would kill me to lose Z. Homer as well.

I agree, I really miss this guy. He made me laugh, matter of fact does anyone have or know where to find that video of him doing the fingers to his eyes. He is asking for way to much in my opinion, I just hope he wakes up and realizes he won't get that much, comes down in price, then resigns with the Wings.
