Here it is guys, the moment of truth, no added pressure or anything . I think we'll do fine tonight, need to stay focused and not panic, even if we go down a goal. We went down two goals before against the sharks and came back for the win, we can Win this game no problem. Sharks will come out strong, need to come out even stronger and take it to them. Good Luck Guys, Wings win but the game will be close no doubt.

All I have to say is, We NEED to positive. We should have won last game, and hopefully the players will realize this and realize we totally dominated the game and then had a break down and gave away the game. Homer will help our cause greatly but we had the game won last night without him and we won last saturday without him as well. The Wings win and lose as a team not as individuals. I'm bumed about last nights game yes, but Game 4 will be different. We have to win now, Red Wings have faced adversity before already this season and beat it. We played decent last game even though we lost, we need to stay focused and we got this.

I noticed this as well but its still not excuse. I seen a number of interference calls that were not called but you get what you get. Hopefully the refs are better in game 4. We were totally controlling the game, until mid 2nd period. They got thier weak goal and it made them step up thier game. We had that game won if we would have kept playing like we were, controlling the tempo. I was extremly disappointed in the game last night because I know how close we were to winning and making it that much easier on us to win this series. We need to come out strong in game 4 and hit them early on again. Take away thier momentum and run with it. Its going to be more diffucult than last game though.

I agree, I've always liked Babcock's style. It might not win him popularity with his players but he has thier respect thats for sure. I have high hopes for this team and see something very special in them. New Band of Brothers if you will. and Babcock is the general

talk about panic, its 2-2, Were not even down yet and your calling the series over, some fan you are. The Calgary fans didn't give up on thier team when they were down 2 zip. Every playoff team faces adversity, we realize now that the Flames are not going to be beaten easy and will come out in the end. I have faith in my team until the end, Go Wings

come on guys no need to panic. The series is tied now, and everyone already has us losing. What kind of fans do that? The Flames fans didn't count out thier team when they were down 2 zip why should we do it when we are tied? The wings didn't play the best last night but better than game 3. The refs I know you can't always blame them but the calls they made were just stupid. How can we win the game when were constantly getting 5-3's for Iginlia elbowing our goaltender in the head and Dom getting made about it? Dom did over play it alittle but still you can't elbow someone's goalie in the head. Our guys need to kick it in gear and I think benching Huds was wrong. He was so pumped in the first two games, and excited to do something in the playoffs and they bench him. When Lang goes out and looks uninspired every night. I'm pissed at Babcock for having Lang on the ice the last 30 seconds, I thought Franzen had a great game, he was moving more than he ever does and trying to get something done. We need to stop trying to shoot from the point and get something going from the short side on Kip. He thinks hes the man right now we need to show him hes not. as a fellow goaltender, I am not impressed with his glove hand whatsoever. Thier are many other tenders in the league that have a far superior glove than he does. anyways We got this still guys don't give up hope. Need to support the team the way Calgary fans do at home, get our guys pumped up and playing strong again, We can win big on Saturday and come back on Sunday and beat them in thier own arena. I was just wondering what the heck was Mickey thinking last night, I usually love how he calls games He always says whats on his mind and is always calling stuff the right way, but last night I got so sick and tired of hearing about Iginlia and how many seconds he was on the ice without Nick and blah blah and how many shots hes had and how deadly he is on the puck and how he is one of the best players in the league and so on. I know Mickey and Ken are fair and not bias at all comapared to other home network call teams, but still last night got alittle excessive on the Jarome talk. anyone else feel the same way??

Welcome to the club, this used to happen all the time with Pavel, tons and tons of TRADE DATSYUK threads, and now that he has been on his game and got resigned to a contract everyone is done talking smack. Lang can be a good player but he needs to get motivated and do something and do something fast. I just wonder if his poor play lately has been due to him knowing he likely won't be resigned with the Red Wings come next season, who knows his style has always been different but he needs to put some pucks in the net to silence all the critics thats what Pavel did and now they are off his back so hopefully Lang will do the same and play better so we can move on to the next whipping boy. keep in mind Lilja also was on everyone's hit list before now that he has stepped his game up and played grittier everyone is starting to side with him. what happened to all the Lilja hate threads?

good discussion guys, but just incase someone read it wrong, I'm talking about the FSN feed, not the CBC one. I already know how bad they can be on CBC thats why I was watching FSN and was shocked at how much ass kissing they were doing towards Iginlia thats all. anyways not that big a deal, I'm ready for game 4 and hopefully they have more to talk about this time rather than all about Iginlia.

I for one think this is stupid. Just because the guy arrives late from a flight to be totally kicked off the team is just plain wrong. Nemchinov obviously has a personal problem with Semin or something to completly kick him off the team over something like this. With all the Russian talent playing in the NHL playoffs right now Team Russia needs all the guys who are already out of the playoffs to play. Especially a guy like Semin who plays awesome along side and a teammate Alexander Ovechkin. hopefully they withdraw the punishment and let him play for the team.

I understand that he calls things like he sees it but, when they weren't even skating, all the topics were on Iginlia and not only the conversation but they went as far as bring up statistics on the screen of how many shots hes had his ice time logs and this and that. I as a Detroit fan watching the game on FSN Detroit don't want to hear about Iginlia all night long, I respect the guy and don't mind positive comments here and there about him but last night they took it a bit far thats all I'm saying. At the point where they kept talking about him the guy only had 2 shots on goal in two games and they were both backhand shots, and they just kept going on and on about what he can do and how deadly he CAN be. We'll in that case alot of Red Wings CAN be a real threat but thier not talking about Datsyuk or Zetterberg or guys like that. No big deal I was just wondering if anyone else sensed a Jarome Iginlia love fest going on. and if you ask me Iginlia was playing like a dirt bag in Detroit, trying to play tough guy with Zetterberg for no good reason.

I'd rather take the opinion of a great coach like Hitchcock, over any of the other doubters anyday. I bet he will turn The Jackets into a whole different team by next season, He just needs to find a way to get along with Zherdev. I personally can't stand anyone on the -VS- call team, especially Brian Engblom he is such a tool and his haircut is re-god-damn-diculous. Maybe even worse than Barry's, ok well maybe not that bad, but these guys need to both lose the 1080. Mullets are about as much part of the game now as wood sticks are.

He might be able to play hockey, but he doesen't know how to call a UN-bias game thats for sure. If Nashville wants to play dirty and cheap, they won't get to far in the long run, but if they choose to play a clean hard nosed game, they are capable of going deep into the playoffs. We'll have to see how things go in game 2. If Nasville doesen't get the first goal next game, I predict they will start playing really dirty, if they score first though I'm sure they'll play thier game like normal.

yeah, Zetterberg being injured is a serious problem, and Fans panic if one of the star players are hurt bad. so they always release the least amount of details as possible. I just hope Zetterberg stays healthy for all the Playoffs and this injury doesen't get in his way in the future as well.
