I was recently at Kroger getting some stuff and ran into Detroit Red Wings bobble heads. I have been waiting for new ones to come out. Ever since Little Caesars had them back in 97' or 98' I forget what season it was exacly. They are pretty detailed and were on sale for $14.99. but popular players are getting hard to find. I got a Datsyuk (of course), Zetterberg, and Hasek. just thought I'd give you guys the heads up.

I'll post some pictures either later today or tommorow. They have a lot of this years team from what I seen. Not many Zetterbergs or Datsyuk's left and only one Hasek that I grabbed up quickly. the hasek one is alright I guess, he doesen't have a mask and the painting on his pads are from the Louisville pads he had when he won the cup with us in 2002 which is not real authentic but still nice to have it though. The Lidstom has the big C on it, not sure if the others have the Alternate A on them though, I forget. No visors on Dats or Z but they do have Dats facial hair and Z's hair sticking out by his ears on his helmet. I did notice they had a Kronwall one, didn't see a Lang, or Ozzie. They could have been sold out I guess but didn't see them. they had Drapes, Schneider, and a few others I believe. if you guys still want pictures I will post them later or sometime tommorow. take care

I care as well. Igor was not only a icon in Detroit Red Wings hockey but in Russian Hockey history. He is and will always be one of the smartest minds to play the game. They didn't call him the professor for nothing. All of the Russian 5 will always be rememebered in Detroit. (well for most fans that is) and especially Fedorov, the guy doesen't look right in any other uniform he was born to be a Red Wing. and yet people still Boo how dumb is that. Avery is a former Wing that deserves to be Booed. Not Fedorov.

Ovechkin played a good game against Atlanta. needs to finnish the season strong with a hat-trick. good luck Sasha

there has got to be a somewhere online, where they have archived NHL team photos of all the teams. Every year the teams take a team picture just like in the Amateur leagues. I have a calender/team photo Poster of the 2001-2002 team. Most the time the picture is taken at center ice as well. anyone know where to find these pictures please tell us. would be cool to make a slide show or something of the Wings team photos past and present.

Can't wait, We need a fresh start this year. This years fortunes will be different I can feel it. so the wall paper should be different as well.

Right on the river, the new arena is just a ways down from Comerica, and Ford Field. Looks to be to cluttered. Hard decision. I say we keep the Joe for a few more years

I'm sure this was discussed in the GDT already, but I thought it was funny how early on in the game, after Nashville got the first goal, they began taunting Osgood and then Ozzie responds with playing I would have to say his best game of the season. Shutting down the Preds left and right. In the end Ozzie gets the last laugh. Nashville fans were loud and smack talking when they scored first then after we tied it and Ozzie's performance made the GAYlord Entertainment Center as quiet as a Church. I wonder if Bert got a kick out of them booing him also Great Game Ozz

Another great game last night Pasha If Datsyuk's hot streak would have started about a month earlier he would easily be leading the NHL in goals, assist, and possibly points right now.

Wings 3-1, Need to take last night's momentum and get things done again. shake off the jet lag and come out strong. This could be Bert's night. Datsyuk will also score I predict. Good luck guys

I'm feeling good about tonight, the game should be a close game, but without that annoying little nat TOOTOO nipping at the heels of our guys, We'll be able to show them how we play hockey here in hockeytown. I predict Dats scores and gets 2 assist. Big Bert gets a goal tonight on the PP, Every game he is more comfortable playing with the team. Its not for money, it really gets to me when everyone says Russian players only play for money and where they will get the most of it. What you guys don't realize is that guys like Datsyuk, Ovechkin, Kovalchuk, Kovalev. Could all make more money playing in Russia. Like Ovechkin said, its his dream to play in best league in the world. Its not always about the money. In Igor's case, he is not ready to make the move to not only the NHL but America as well. He has a family he has to think about and is still trying to cope with the after effects of his accident. Plus the Wings are waiting for the right moment to fit him in the line up. I like the guy a lot but he is far from being better than Ovechkin. He was once said to be the next Kovalchuk though but that was before he got in the car accident. He has made great recovery so far but a lot of people don't feel he'll ever be the same player that he was. Still a NHL caliber player none the less and I look forward to seeing him in the Wings uniform when the time is right. Datsyuk and Markov will be able to help him adjust. Just as Larionov and Fedorov did when Datsyuk first arrived.

nice post Like we were discussing the other day, Datsyuk has played tremendous through all the injuries line swapping, and all the added pressure he has on him since Hank has been hurt. I know as well as you that Datsyuk could have this big a impact nomatter who he was playing with. He has been very good adjusting to new line mates, He did very well adjusting to playing Wing when they had moved. He is doing extremely well in the defensive zone when a lot of people were saying he wasn't a defensive minded player at all. Despite others posting his take away percentages. Pavel has been on fire and hopefully continues to play his game and everything will be fine. Datsyuk doesen't get the credit he deserves, hopefully he knows their are a lot of fans who appreciate what he does for the team and see how hard he works every game.

He seemed to be having a good time at the game Saturday against St. Loius. Especially during the shoot-out.
