should be a good game tonight, I think the Avs will play tonight will be that of 100% pure desperation. and I just hope that noone on the Wings gets hurt tonight in the process, the avs will be playing extremly dirty watch and see. Especially if Peter Foreskin is playing again. Wings need to just keep doing what they have done and stick to their game plan and they should come out with a victory yet again tonight. Lets not give the Avs any oxygen and choke them out of the playoffs tonight. good luck guys

I think we just found this years, "BERNIE" t-shirts. I wonder if the players still have these shirts that a lot of us got for them? I think I'll order one of this tommorow in celebration to the Wings elimating the Avs in 4 straight games. as far as the Wings logo being added, yes you can get in copyright problems, unless you find a way to change it up and make it different. maybe with just the word "Go Wings" or HockeyTown spelt alittle different for example Hockey-Town Just a few ideas awesome shirt, now I have to decide whether to get the black with white logo, or the red with the white because its Wings colors.

I was just wondering if their is a story behind the fans in Nashville blowing the Too Too!!! train whistle every time he is on the ice. It was annoying as crap and just plain stupid. I bet even Jordin finds it annoying. Its got to bad when the annoucers bring it up during the broadcast, Mike and Ken mentioned it last night but don't usually mention stuff going on in the stands like that. I hope we take back the series next game so we don't have to return to Nashville and listen to that annoying sound the entire game again. Go Wings

yeah I can see how people are making this mistake, it sounds like he says 4th street, but if you listen really close you can make it out. If your not from Detroit then you wouldn't know anyways, most cities name streets like that first street 2nd street etc etc. so it would make sense only Detroit is weird and we have a street names like Fort, Jefferson, Yzerman drive. no big deal, I wonder if thats what he meant by that though, it also has a Fish in the picture and Thomas sure looked like a fish out of water on that play.

thats funny you brought this up, I've been thinking this a lot myself. Lillypad makes boneheaded plays, not trying point fingers because we lost but he has made huge mistakes at crucial times in playoff games. the play against Selanne last year, and like you mentioned in Edmonton in 06. It makes me wonder though with his track record why would Babs have him on the ice at moments like these. no time to panic we'll get this series back in our control, but its a game we should have won and had won. big moments of the game keep Lilly on the bench.

Funny video, and sad both. I don't care about teams like St. Louis and such, but Luongo and Miller make it sad along with Kovalchuk. they are all great players who deserve to be playing in the post season. Although I felt the same way about Ovechkin but this year he gets to play should be exciting. I do find it funny though that the Blues for so many years, would always say we make the playoffs EVERY year. and that was their claim to fame because they haven't won anything else EVER, so now they don't have anything positive to look at except, there is always next year.

I wanted to get Sergei back for a few reasons, mostly second line powerplay, and his clutch playoff performance track record, and I thought he would work great with Pavel, not just because he would be a fellow Russian but their style of play compliments each others. but 1rst round pick and Flip, and take the chance that Feds might not resign with the Wings after that no thanks thats way way way to much for that. With that said we made the right choice. now for the furture if Feds ever wanted or we wanted to get him back to the Wings, He will be coming from another conference so it will be easier. oh and Miller whats up with that avatar ??? is that your wife in your hockey gear or something??

yes indeed, maybe its Nostalgia but it seems like things are getting back to "normal" Foppa on the Avs, D Mac is back and the rivalary is starting to see a spark with the game last week. all we need to do now, is sign Mr. Fedorov and maybe pickup Hossa while were at it and we'll be ready to go. Forsberg says hes not ready to skate, then out of the blue signs with the Avs what a *****. Maybe Mats is acutally going to sign elsewhere tommorow as a Fake Out strategy.

Can Detroit Win The Cup? Yes Detroit can win the cup, as a matter of fact they have won it 10 times already. and they had to beat other determined teams along the way to each and everyone won of those Stanley Cups. so in closing all I can say is F**** the Press they know nothing and are always looking to talk bad about the Wings, who knows why jealously perhaps but I don't pay any mind to what the press says about anything. ask a Hockey fan, doesen't matter what team, if the Red Wings can win and cup and they'll tell you.

As much as this video bothers me to watch Nick be in pain, and not know where he is I thought this would be a good post to discuss the game in more further. First off this comentator in the hightlight reel pisses me off for making fun of Lidstrom being disorientated, after I'm done being annoyed it shows, Downey doing the right thing, I knew we had to send a message you can't let another team hurt your captain and mvp defensemen and not do anything about it. Pavel played a brillant game last night. He had three great assist, especially the last play setting up Zetterberg. Pavel will continue to climb, he is tied for the league in assist right now at 51, second in the league in plus/minus with 35 trailing only Nick Lidstrom, and 1 point away from leading the Wings in points after last night. Pavel is having a great season, and I wish him the best this year in the playoff run. Kudos Pasha.

I was reading some articles online and thought I should post this, Pavel is a witty guy and I thought everyone would enjoy this, if you have any other funny quotes by Pavel or other Wings players please share as well.

Read the article here----------- Thought this would be posted by now but it hasn't been, I for one am one of the few supporters of having Fedorov come back to Detroit, He would fit with this team perfectly and is comfortable with the system, city, most of the players, and his family still lives here. I think he would work out well for us in many different ways, Imagine him on a powerplay on the point with Datsyuk, or on the penalty kill, shorthanded goals would increase, and his playoff experiece especially with the Wings is something that not every other potential pick-up can bring to the table. I say Sergei comes home where he belongs and retires a wing. so in closing I would like to add, Whats to stop Chris Chelios from bringing Sergei Fedorov back to Detroit?
