The slew foot wasn't intentional and almost not even one at all, They both were skating hard for the puck collide Ovie is trying to keep his balance and not fall and his left leg sweeps out his right leg and he goes down. Ovie has had some bad plays but you have to remember he is 100% passionate about this game, and sometimes stuff happens out on the ice, but I wouldn't say he is a goon that looks to go out and hurt people, the guy is a good person and loves the game. Anyone in here that disagrees has never played a hockey game in their life. Stuff happens when you play and your emotions take over, its like survival of the fittest with a gentlemanly hand shake and nod of respect to the other team when the game is over. hockey is hockey I can tell a lot of you have never set foot on the ice a day in your life. you'll never understand the emotional side of hockey games until you actually play and compete yourself. there is a difference in the way a hockey players watches hockey games and the way hockey fans watch hockey games.

He has skill yes but nothing to the point of what people like you build him up to have. If anything Penguins are Malkin's team not that whiny ass Crosby. and since when does, HITS win hockey games? I thought the only thing that counted was goals on the scoreboard?? besides we all know the only reason the Pens won last game is so Buttman can sell more playoffs tickets, a sweep wouldn't be very profitable for the NHL. on a serious note though, yes Pittsburgh played a decent game and got the job done, they needed to win that game. Refs called a tight game, few weak calls but hey that is always going to happen. Fleury played solid, and they got the job done no thanks to Cindy though. and please for the last time stop whining about Hossa breaking a stick, they both were going for the puck and dupoius swung his stick into Hossa's, Marian was swinging in the opposite direction right towards the puck, there was never any chopping motion for him to try and break the stick it just happened. The other night I tried to log onto the Penguins main forums (msgboard.pittsburghpenguins.com/) and I kept having a bunch of problems, so I figured it was just traffic from being NHL finals and probably just too many users on at once no big deal, so then I try late at night after checking my e-mail and I get a weird message after it tries to open the site forever. still nothing, huh so I figure something might be messed up with my internet, so I reset my modem, router etc etc, still nothing. Tried again today at work, to see what they think of Pavel possibly playing tonight, same thing again, huh wtf is going on, So I log onto the website on my iPhone and bam works like a charm, still nothing on pc and on my phone it works perfect, it seems as though they possible have blocked MI internet providers IPs or something, which is stupid if you ask me. is anyone else having the same problem or is it just a weird coincidence? and if so do we filter IPs on our site too? oh this will have to be for people that live in Michigan, I'm sure Wings fans from Florida can go there fine. I didn't think the Penguins OFFICIAL website, would block IPs, I could see it from a third party site but come on how sad is that, to bad their are ways around this. but its not even worth it, what happened to friendly hockey talk between the two opposing teams? We didn't gloat or trash talk any of the other teams we've faced so far, and vice versa they don't really offer much of hockey knowledge or discussion any how. go Wings

I was just wondering since we are down the the final four teams, How many fans from other teams, are watching and who are they pulling for? Its always nice to have a outsiders prospective on things. Obviously most them fall into one of two categories, the ones who respect the team that knocked theirs out and pull for them from there on out since they want the team that beat them to beat everyone else, then the others who Despise the team that beat theirs and want everyone to beat them rather then pull for them. Also however things may go, Caps Fans, or Canes Fans, pull for us or Chicago to win the cup? and hopefully we have Fans from all the teams on here, I've noticed in visiting other teams forums that a lot of people don't want the Wings to succeed and treat us like we are favored by the dreaded VS network, basically the same reason so many despise of the Penguins because all the media hype that Cindy Crysby gets. So Outside Fans Welcome and Feel free to let us know how you think things are going whether your pulling for the Wings or Against us.

Well this might be a blessing in disguise guys, They done pissed off Pavel, Marian, and pretty much the rest of our team, I wouldn't be surprised if Pavel got a few goals and 2-3 assist next game. We need to come out strong in game 7 and destroy the Ducks not just beat them, We need to DESTROY them, I'm thinking something along the lines of Game 7 against he Avs in 2002, when we took them out 7-0 Lets go Wings it all or nothing time

you've got a very good point, I'm feeling the same way, all our fans need to stop gloating we haven't won anything yet, we are up by one game just like they were last week, things can turn around very fast, I hope we can win Game 6 don't want any part of a Game 7 against the Ducks. they are down we need to keep them that way

oh yeah they are, they are complaining and making excuses and all kinds of crap and the series isn't over yet, some fans already talking about off-season trades and stuff. With this years the beard is back, I got to thinking of all the playoff slogans over the years and was curious to know what the others have been like. I couldn't find a list of them anywhere and thought I would start a thread trying document as far back as we can go with playoff slogans for future reference. I was wondering the same exact thing, I might have to work late tonight and would be able to catch some if I could find a stream somewhere, I've seen some pay sites on here but I'm more or less looking for a site that I can just catch tonight's game for free, without getting a virus in the process as well. I know Yahoo used to stream a few games, as did Comcast awhile back. Other options I've heard about are Sopcast which I never could get to work good, and also ran into a russian site called livetv.ru haven't tried it yet so if its a dirty site don't blame me, also was recommended www.justin.tv any other help would be greatly appreciated guys WE ALL NEED TO WATCH TONIGHTS GAME GO WINGS
