What an AWESOME finale in the season! Vince Young was amazing, and so were White and Leinart in defeat. This game (esp. the 2nd half) was an insta-classic.

22-3; They're on pace for a 72-10 season!! P.S. The game against G-State was fun. Even got to participate in the "Fire Millen" chants!

With the win tonight they're now 6-0. The best starting 5 in the league actually looks even better this year which is just scary for the rest of the league. Basketball is back! Awesome shot by Rip; 'stons will be in tough this year with both Miami and Indiana ready to usurp their claim as the beasts of the East. However our bench should be much improved this year with Dice, Los Carlos, Evans and Darko all possessing the ability to contribute. Go Pistons!

I would like to see Filppula play maybe 10-20 games with the big club as a form of motivation, but yeah your arguments are pretty solid. Also this has nothing to do with your post but.... Filppula > Hudler.... something I've long suspected from watching the World Juniors back in the day. Hudler was always more talented, but it was Filppula who steped up in the big games.

Nabby is IMO is most underrated of the top echelon goalies... San Jose is wanna win the west this year methinks.

The regular season is all about the enjoyment of a (hopefully) faster game, watching our aging veterans playing for pride and the development of their heir apparents. All I want is for Stevie Y. to give one more kick in the can ('cause we all know Detroit had as good a chance as any in 2004 until Stevie went down) during the playoffs.

Wow Joe D has certainly opted for grit and defence over talent this off-season (Maxiell, Davis, Evans). I hope these are the right decisions, 'cause we STILL have little scoring punch off the bench and Miami is lookin' pretty scary. Too bad Finley didn't want to come off the bench for us. I guess I'm glad we didn't get Sprewell since his attitude is pretty poor. P.S. It's funny how Joe D and Kenny Holland are at virtually the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to building a centender.

If that's true then it would be awesome.... if we have to bring them to the AHL upon signing them then I foresee a lot of problems. It's unfortunate that the CBA hasn't been released to the public. As far as I know no one knows the exact rule when it comes to signing prospects.
