Schneider playing defense? I vividly remember a few PATHETIC plays he made in our zone that my grandma could have done better. I'm pretty sure one of the times he finally got it to Lang and Lang proceeded to turn it over in the neutral zone... haha

Sammy should sit.... I frickin' hate him. WHY is he on the point? He can't hold a puck in and can barely get the puck on net from there. WHY does Babcock always put our worst forwards on point? What's wrong with even Lebda? He had that awesome one-timed slapper a few games back... He has the speed to get the puck back into the zone if it is cleared. Sammy just turns it over in the neutral or plays with himself in our zone for 50 seconds. Even Cheli would be better on the point..

I'd love to be optimistic, but I dont see Detroit beating out Buffalo...

We have plenty of players that can kill penalties. We dont have any that hit everything that moves, fights and draws as many penalties as Tootoo does. Also, I'm sure Bert wasnt trying to break his back, but he hit Moore in the head from behind and jumped on his back practically... Much more 'dirty' than even an intentional knee-on-knee.

I'd take Tootoo any day of the week over Maltby as an 'aggitator'. He hits everything, he's got loads of energy, he fights, he draws penalties. He drew like 3 penalties last game against the Wings when Schneider and everyone kept running him. What does Maltby do?

What are you talking about? You bolded unintentional, which I was talking about Hartnell's knee-on-knee. I wasnt throwing any unintentional around the Moore incident. EDIT: Also, I didnt say ANYTHING about the elbow being unintentional. But, Cheli probably throws 30 elbows a period - who cares.

Do you know what Hudler's salary is? $525,000. Too bad salaries dont mean sh$# in the playoffs. Everyone is "good" at something, but do you need that good? In this case, defense isnt one of our weak spots. Since, we have one of the best defenses in the league. We have one of the worst powerplays in the league, too.

Hudler over Franzen? I'd take Franzen over Hudler every day of the week and twice on sunday.
