I've seen him play a lot and he has much more of a mean streak than rafalski, can pass just as good, has a much harder shot and is a larger human being. He fits perfect with our system because he has a deflectable shot and plays an awsome puck possession game. I mean I wouldnt overpay for him but my guess is we can have him because most will be worried about his health.

I think Markov is a stellar defense man and if the contract was right i would be willing to pay even 5 mil per year. His upside is huge and he is way more talented than both lidstrom and rafalski in offense. Two freak injuries doesnt mean you are made of glass. Is kronwall made of glass too, he has missed just as much time. I say we go for him if he is an UFA. The pairing would be #1A Kronwall/#1B Markov.

Filpulla got a lot of bashing during the regular season, but he has amazed me in the playoffs so far. He seems to be much stronger on the puck and doesnt fall when someone comes close to him. Also he seems to also throw his weight around just like hossa, datsyuk, and zetts. This man certianly does know how to step it up in the playoffs. I was bored and looked at last years playoffs and he rocked. I hope we dont trade him and just give hudler away if anything. Props to you Fil, keep it up!

I say get rid of Sammy and Lilja, Lebda provides half as* depth on defense and keep our chemistry going. Just look at the "Mighty" Ducks, their team changed like 4 players if I am correct?

Ok for those who keep saying that Fedorov is a money ***** are pretty blind. He left for 4 million less. Detroit offered him 10 million a year and he took 6 mill from the ducks. Next I think Yashin is pretty emberrassed that his contract got bought out and I think he now has something to prove. The isles are talking a lot of bad things about him. Kind of reminds me of a player we now have (Hasek). If he wants to come here and play he will sign for hardly anything and he will prove to the nhl he can still be a premier forward. I say do it, he has the talent, he just needs to choose to use it!

He is a good goalie, but I think our team needs to move on, he cannot control rebounds anymore and he seemed real tired at game 6. Thanks for the ride dom, but please let the Red Wings move on with rebuilding and making us a dynasty again!
