You're right. I really want the guy to break out too, I was really excited when we signed Weiss because of what he had done in Florida. He doesn't look like the same guy right now, not sure what has to change to get him going. He needs to skate harder, and if he doesn't take penalties, get more and more ice. These next 4 games before Datsyuk comes back, are huge for trying to get him going.

Coming in and having to learn the way the Wings played early, he was up and down. And apparently playing injured, then he finally comes out of the line-up for a few games. Comes back to play 10 minutes a night with Cleary and Samuelsson. Has a decent 1st 2 periods tonight, got a point. Takes a bad penalty, and then doesn't see much ice the rest of the way. I question Holland and Babs for signing Weiss in the first place, he seemed to be a perfect fit. Instead he's been mostly on the 4th line, and getting no PP time. 4.9 mil a year is too much for a guy that the team doesn't seem to be all in on. It's still early, but 4 points in 23 games isn't good enough. And Babs doesn't seem to have confidence in the guy.

It's a little late for that Abby.. and just for kicks Rinaldo punches Helm right in the face at the end of the game. Absolutely gutless.

The worst part of this is the lack of emotion by the Wings. Just nonchalant, going thru the motions waiting for the game to end. No one seems to give a s*** when there down by a couple.
