Do the Wings ever expect Weiss to get going if they keep playing him with Cleary every game? And now Samuelsson? Sheesh. All the same we should win this game.

He's been great since he came back from injury. I'd like to see him get some PP time, he's got good instincts offensively.

Well I'm not gonna defend Hollands cap management because it's a joke, however Alfie is ready to go tonight so we're gonna be fine for forwards.

We need some more snarl, some more size up front. But at the same time, it isn't just an enforcer. We could use a guy like Chris Stewart, Bertuzzi is a decent deterrent, but you see how the game changes if he doesn't play. We need big guys that can put some pucks in the net. And on the back end, we could use either a guy who blocks shots like a madman or can connect tape to tape on every pass. But all of that is easier said then done, because not only do we have a nonchalant GM, he doesn't have cap space or roster space to make trades.

I've made my points on Quincey. He's a flaming bag of s*** on someones porch. But if not for Hollands poor management, how good could this team be? Quincey: 3.775 cap hit, 3 assists in 24 GP -14 Cleary: 1.75 cap hit 1G 2A in 23 GP +1 Samuelsson: 3.00 cap hit 1G 1A in 12 GP -1 Miller: 1.35 cap hit 1G 1A in 24 GP -8 Tootoo: 1.9 cap hit 0G 0A in 8GP -4 Eaves: 1.2 cap hit 0G 0A in 3 GP -2 12.975mil tied up in 6 guys who don't really do much. Could plugging in affordable kids and spending money more wisely on secondary scoring have really made us worse? Obviously not. As a saving grace, 4 of them are UFA's at seasons end, and when the cap goes up Millers contract won't be so bad. But it isn't pretty for this season, I had forgotten about Eaves and Tootoos contracts sitting in the minors, just poor management this season.

For the Sens to play the way they did all game, and then come out after the game and talk to the media and accuse the Wings of diving to a man, is a ******* joke. Dives? Franzen, yepp, he's a coward anyway. But now we know that Datsyuk was concussed on Cowens elbow, so if I were a Red Wing I'd be pretty ******* pissed off to here that s***. If they don't come out and play motivated the next game against Ottawa I'll be pretty disapppointed.

Gus should play tomorrow. Playing a goalie to get him going early in the year makes no sense, early in the year we need points. And Gus is getting points in his starts.

Best way to deal with it is score more goals and win the game. Let Ottawa do the dirty stuff all night, 2 pts is more important. Smith showed the Wings aren't afraid. Kind of how the Ducks used to play us.

PP going into the 3rd is good, the 2nd wasn't really good. Would be nice to win this game, I hate the way Ottawa play vs us. Act like they're tough because they know they won't have to answer the bell, they don't play this way against Boston or Toronto. So ya, win the ******* game pls.
