Fair point. It'd be great to have Nyquist up, that's for sure. Wouldn't even mind a guy like Ferraro getting some spot duty for Andersson, god knows we could use some speed in our forward group.

I agree that Ouellet and Sproul need to be accounted for in 1-2 years time on defence, but Quincey will certainly be gone. And when the boys are ready Lashoff will go back to being a solid #7. As far as E's contract, he's currently at 3.25, if his raise is say 4.2, then that's great for us with the cap going up. He's a solid top 4 guy who can play 20mins, PP/PK, fight and hit when he feels like it too.

Haha indeed, down a goal in the 3rd and Abby and Miller are getting shifts and Tatar isn't. I'm sure we might see a similar script here in the 3rd. I don't deny that Babs is one of the best coaches in the NHL, but he does some dumb ******* things game to game.

I've never had so little confidence in this team actually being able to score a goal in a period, haha. ******* pathetic. Watching that replay again, if Babs had any sack he'd glue Andersson to the bench during the 3rd and play our good players, but of course he doesn't coach that way.

I just hate everything Quincey does in the O-zone, he doesn't have a ******* clue. In good news though, every shift for ZDB so far has generated great pressure and opportunities. But even then, it was a weak wrister that almost got deflected over the glass.

He can play the wing, and even though he's a small guy, he's fiesty with a nose for the net. And he's money in the post season. With his cap number, at any point in the season it'd be difficult. But of all the guys that'd be available, he's the one who'd bring us closer to a cup. Between Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Alfredsson, Franzen (can't completely count him out) and Cammalleri, we'd certainly have our fair share of big game players.
