Helm is out with an upper body injury. Really hope his wrist isn't cut badly, or maybe there just taking precautions on the knee by taking him out. A ******* shame, because him and Dano were looking great out there banging bodies. Taking out Helm makes the guys around him less physical and effective, ffffssss

Pete DeBoer vs the team that fired him, and one of the original Brodeur understudies will be facing him in goal. Great storylines, hard series to predict, I'd love to see Florida win, but Jersey have a solid team all around.

Connor-Helm-Cleary Miller-Abdelkader-Holmstrom Probably the most energetic bottom 6 we could throw together, guys like Cleary and Miller would have to up the physicality for the lines to be effective though.

Craig Anderson almost beat San Jose who were head and shoulders better then Colorado when he was there in 2010, I wouldn't count the Sens out.

If there were ever a road series to wanna win, I think this would be the one. We have an easy travel schedule, and match up pretty good against Nashville. I personally think the possibility for all of the top 4 seeds to be gone for the 2nd round is pretty good. I may be in the minority, but Vancouver will have a tough time against the Kings, I don't think the Blues can beat the Sharks, Yotes/Hawks will be a crap shoot, and then our series where the winner of the series will probably be the most battle tested of the teams to advance. Bring on the games, this truly is the best time of year

Hopefully Timmy and the B's can shut em down. At the very least, as much as he annoys me sometimes, I'd love to see Lucic crush Malkin and Crosby every shift.

To be honest, i'd like to see these lines for the 3rd, if only for effort Bertuzzi-Datsyuk-Nyquist Filppula-Zetterberg-Sheahan Miller-Abdelkader-Holmstrom Hudler-Emmerton-Franzen Enough guys aren't skating hard, and giving there all. The guys who are? They don't get enough ice time, with 1 period to win this game and have a chance at home ice, we need the guys who are gonna give the effort.

Was just watching a clip of Sid responding to Torts comments on the Score, he said Callahan whines to the refs more then he or Malkin And that Torts will just apologize like Milbury and all will be forgotten. He's a great PKer. He could be an unbelievable player if he wasn't so stupid. I heard a story here in Calgary about Olli Jokinen actually hiring a mental coach kinda thing, to help him focus and get more mentally prepared for games and stuff. And while it sounds funny in theory, he's actually been much better this season for the Flames then in any other season. If only the Wings could do something like that for Ericsson, he'd be a top 4 d-man if he didn't make so many mental errors on the ice. And for the record, I like Ericsson, I'd just like to see him punch people in the face more

So depending on the results of tonights game, Sheahan could play on Saturday according to Kenny. Hopefully we win and Nashville and Chicago lose, I wanna see him get a game in
