It was an expansion draft. You could only protect so many players, and we lost Dougie when Kenny really didn't want too lose him.

I'm expecting some rough stuff tonight. Cleary-Abdelkader-Bertuzzi will be in there, Smith and Janik in the line-up. Should be a good game, hopefully Joey plays good we need these points -
Aaron Ward was traded for Jiri Hudler, go figure Interesting list. Seems that whenever we've dealt away our 1st in big time deals, the player never became anything (sans Mike Green)

Alot better then whatever our forwards will probably look like. In light of not adding a depth forward, I really miss Eaves now.

One thing is for sure, we need to win the Presidents Trophy if were gonna win the Cup IMO. Home ice is gonna make a huge difference, this forward group has not been able to get it done on the road the past 2 seasons. Home ice and a deeper defence (knock on wood with health issues) could change that. I'll stay positive, despite not adding, because I still believe in Howard as a Cup caliber goalie
