Why sit Commodore? The Canucks may not be a bunch of goons, but they play like it vs Detroit and it'd be nice to have someone on the backend willing to do something about it. Should be a good game, glad Lou's in and not Schnieder gives us a better chance for the W IMO. Should be an exciting game. -

That's a good way to put it. But it's true, both players would make us better and more balanced so why not? Sure we'd all like Zach Parise but that's probably not as realistic as the names we've been hearing more and more from the media types like Moen and Morrow.

If we got Morrow and Moen at the deadline... I don't know my reaction. We'd be the favorites to win the cup, that's for sure. Bertuzzi-Datsyuk-Franzen Filppula-Zetterberg-Morrow Moen-Helm-Cleary Miller-Abdelkader-Eaves/Holmstrom Be nice to pick up a 4th line center so Abby could move to the wing, but still.

Kindl showed tonight he should not be in over Commodore. Provides no toughness, fumbles the puck under pressure, and is getting Ericsson like with the penalties. But other then that everyone played good ... Hope the Wings enjoy the all star break.

It looks like the Wings just feel it's too late to show up, Commodore and Abby turning off any physical confrontation. They are probably going to just go through the motions for the rest of the game. Poor Conks, his numbers are going to be borderline ECHL after tonight
