Yupp, and it really rots me that guys like Stewart, Backes and Jackman go against the code when they play Detroit because we don't have tough players. They would not do that to Dennis Seidenberg is he had hit Pieterangelo like that as an example.

Not only was it one of the most bogus 5 minute majors I've ever seen, he won't and shouldn't be suspended. It was an unfortunate play but not malicious in any way. The league is getting way to pussified over this type of stuff. 5 minutes for that? And talk of a suspension? I miss the 90's

Easily the most uninspired, boring and just lazy 40 minutes I've seen this season. Holy moly, at least Homer made it a bit entertaining there for a minute or so.

It's going to be interesting to see what is the first domino to get the ball rolling. I have a feeling a team like Toronto or Boston will make the first big move this week, and bottom of the barrel teams will start shuffling out Alexei Ponikarovsky types until the deadline hits. Keep hearing the rumors about Hemsky and us, really hope there not true. He doesn't add anything more then Hudler for my money and he's softer then Huds to boot. Not what we need, but depending on the price who knows.

Commodore in the line-up is a good call. He'll be motivated to beat CBJ even with how bad they are, and if the Wings get lackadaisical at a point in the game I'm sure he can change that with a fight. But with the amount of guys out for Columbus I'd be straight up shocked if we didn't destroy them tonight.

Rick Nash must be a really nice guy. I don't know how an all star of his caliber would wanna stick around that awful team. Wings should win 6-1. They probably will win 5-3 haha.
